Do you know there is a roku box you hook up to any tv that is capable of downloading new stuff? I totally believe the rokuTVs probably dont do that and agree its lame, but the boxes download loads of free stuff.
Are you talking about channels or something else? AFAIK the platform is the same regardless if it comes pre-installed or from the box/stick.
