I've got to give this the most marginal of Yays, and it will probably go lower if I think about it more.

It's a drama about a war correspondent played by Juliette Binoche who tries to juggle her passion for denouncing the evils of the world with the needs of her husband and daughters. Binoche is excellent and she completely sells her heroic character. That guy from Mama is also very good, although the film demands some awkward scenes from him, which play too loudly the gender reversal angle of the stay-at-home Dad.

The problem with the whole film is that melodrama is constantly cranked up to 11. I found it hard to get involved simply because I felt like it was being too desperately demanded of me. It does have a powerful ending, but by then my heart was not in the proceedings anymore, despite Binoche's performance.
