Different note, but the one thing that I'm really curious how it will play out, is how Mothra will play out in this film. Throughout the many many films Godzilla and Mothra have been in together, whether as allies or as adversaries, is that Mothra has always been the good-guy.

If nothing else, this film makes for great beautiful trailers.

Except in this one it almost looks like the kid gets sucked up and blown away. That'd be awesome, but I doubt it'll happen. I love the effect of Rodan simply flying over the streets and people getting blown up into the air with the vacuum. Clever detail.
Trailer looks good. Hard to believe it's end of May and there's still so long a wait.
Godzilla/Kong movie just wrapped recently too. Really gonna be hard to make that work visually, so I'm interested to see what they do. Pretty strange for Wingard to go from You're Next/The Guest/Death Note to this.

Problematic movie it seems. Dumb plot, incoherent, exhausting action, characters who stand around for the sole reason of spouting exposition.
Gotta say, kinda surprised. The trailers were visually arresting. Or perhaps that makes sense.
