I can see why Tarantino loved this so much. It's basically informed by his recent style as shown in Basterds and Django. I enjoy that he's praising his disciples.
But anyway, it's a very fine thriller which straddles the fine line between grim and absurd comedy. I loved all the Jewish touches, specially the fact that the Mossad military training can make a fine torturer out of anyone!
