    The Leftovers (HBO/Lindelof)

Full trailer is out for Lindelof's new show.

Nice to see Theroux in a leading role. I'm sufficiently intrigued to tune in.

Lindelof has bungled things too often for me to jump into this. He's at the point where I'll watch the series after the fact if word of mouth remains strong.

How is this not just Left Behind?

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

I'll be like K Fan and await word on this. I feel like it's going to be like the latter seasons of Lost.

I liked Lost enough overall to put this on my radar. Will probably wait till the season wraps before giving it a go.

The fact that it sounds like Left Behind on paper, yet HBO picked it up, makes me interested.

    (Also: James Blake FTW)

Have you ever seen Left Behind?

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

This. The trailer is intriguing enough, but I'm left wondering if they'll let the whole rapture thing hang as a possibility. I think that would be intriguing, but quickly become tiresome in a Lost this-shit-is-totally-purgatory type way.

    What the hell?

    Season 3, Episode 1:

    Quote Quoting IMDb
After the Guilty Remnant invaded Miracle, Kevin and his family move to Australia to start a new life.
Huh? Seriously? Where'd they get this new influx of money from? (Most of the "Miracle" cast is also listed for the third season, so I really can't figure out what the heck is going on with this show's swansong).

I'm still on board, but...are they really gonna try to pull this off? More power to them!

Excellent show. S2's "International Assassin" was something else.

The last season begins in April. 8 episodes.
