I really liked this, but I'm a sucker for self-involved docs. A little bit Alan Zweig, and a little bit Ross McElwee, with a wonderful structure that turns back on itself and recontextualizes everything that came before.

Complicated sibling relationship seems to be easy emotional target for me (see Warrior). Really liked how it morphs from a standard tour doc into an exploration of filmmaking as therapy, with that relationship as a solid emotional background. It starts off slight but lightly enjoyable for a while, but then all the messy interactions and drunk speeches begin to accumulate into an interesting insight of two brothers, and Tom Berninger is an earnest and disarming presence. By the end, it can get to some surprisingly satisfying pay-offs. Loved the ending with that act of brotherly love; so warmly affirming and wonderful.
