Thread: Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee

The Aziz episode felt like it was more about the vehicle than the guest. Still, I enjoyed his observation on texting and ignoring people.
Same here. The vehicle in that episode was definitely one of the most interesting yet.

While this latest season has concluded, Seinfeld went on the Daily Show and announced that he'll be posting very brief episodes as part of what he calls "Single Shots." It's basically a supplemental series of videos where he compiles leftover footage from previous Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee episodes. Each of these episodes will feature unused footage of past guests commenting on a particular question or theme.

I really hope that he manages to get Woody Allen for the next season. Norm MacDonald would be amazing, as well.

I wonder if Norm and Jerry get along. I have nothing to base this on, just feel like they wouldn't jive well.

Did Jerry even film any of this recent season in Los Angeles? Not that it's a problem to do this for the future.

First episode is up, which reminded me that Brian Regan is hilarious.

Those "Single Shots" ended up being pretty much worthless but anyways Season 5 premieres November 5th. Guests are Fred Armisen, Bill Burr, Jimmy Fallon, Kevin Hart, Amy Schumer, Miranda Sings, and Alexandra Wentworth.

Joan Rivers was scheduled to be the first episode guest but postponed it since she was having a procedure done which ended up being the procedure that she died during.

Yeah, the Single Shots are pretty worthless. I don't even know who Sings or Wentworth are, but I'll certainly watch 'em.

Bummer about Joan Rivers. That would've been good.

Wentworth played Jerry's girlfriend in the Soup Nazi episode and was a regular on In Living Color but not much of note since, Sings is a YouTube star.

The only late night guy left is Kimmel. It'd be alright if he did repeats with the likes of Rock, Letterman, Louie CK in the future.

The first one is up. I'm not really a Kevin Hart fan but this was a fantastic episode.

Probably one of the best episodes of the whole series. I could've watched it for a hour.

She's so awesome. We finally have all three Seinfeld stars episodes. Well, four if you count Larry David's.

Wow, it's hard to dislike a comedian, but I can't say I liked that guy.

Besides being a lame comedian he's also a terrible human being.

I looked him up on Wikipedia and I see what you mean, but I wasn't talking about sexism or his religious beliefs. He struck me as a blowhard who thinks he's God's gift to comedy and he doesn't crack a single good joke in the whole episode! Seinfeld basically carries all the jokes here.

Finally watched it. I thought it was a decent episode. Even when there are people on that I don't care for I always tend to enjoy the episode anyways.

Yeah, I enjoyed it too. Fun hearing pros make fun of those that are absolutely horrible.

Trevor Noah is an interesting, likable guy. I'm just not convinced yet that he's funny.

I never heard of him until they announced that he was host of The Daily Show. Still haven't seen him in anything.
