    Charlie Cox is Daredevil.

Only know him as the main guy in Matthew Vaughn's Stardust, but apparently he was also in quite a bit of some Boardwalk Empire seasons I haven't seen.

I think the name I heard most people pulling for was Michael C. Hall, but I doubt he would've done this. I could've just as easily seen Liam McIntyre getting the job since his Spartacus showrunner took over for Goddard.

Either way, still a long ways away. Hope it's good, since I'll be dedicating at least a couple of days to watching this once it goes live!
Last 11 things I really enjoyed:

    Speed Racer (Wachowski/Wachowski, 2008)
    Safe (Haynes, 1995)
South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (Parker, 1999)
    Beastie Boys Story (Jonze, 2020)
    Bad Trip (Sakurai, 2020)
    What's Up Doc? (Bogdanovich, 1972)
    Diva (Beineix, 1981)
    Delicatessen (Caro/Jeunet, 1991)
    The Hunger (Scott, 1983)
    Pineapple Express (Green, 2008)
    Chungking Express (Wong, 1994)

So bummed Goddard left. An Angel-like Daredevil series sounded wonderful.

I liked Charlie Cox's work in Boardwalk Empire. Looking forward to these series.

Vincent D'onofrio cast as Kingpin. I like.

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

Remember when Vincent D'Onofrio was a huge upcoming talent in The Cell? Always wondered why he never materialized.

    Great choice.

Deborah Ann Woll cast as Karen Page. I guess she's not going to stop coming to Comic-Con anytime soon.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

How did you manage to stop?!

Haven't seen her in a couple of years via True Blood (my own withdrawal, not hers), but look forward to seeing her in this.

David Tennant cast in AKA Jessica Jones as the Purple Man.

Very nice casting choice for that character.

Looks exactly like what a cross between a Netflix drama and a Marvel show would look like. I dig it pretty hard.

Time for me to reread Miller's Man Without Fear.

Weird. Rachael Taylor is playing Hellcat/Patricia Walker, but her nickname on the show will be Trish instead of Patsy. That seems like an arbitrary change.

Well that's... interesting. I wonder if Brian Patrick Wade will show up as a younger version of himself.

I've made a lot of jokes about how Hell's Kitchen is so gentrified that Daredevil is basically the protector of an upscale neighborhood, but I just found out that on the show, the MCU version of Hell's Kitchen is a ghetto because it got destroyed by the Chitauri invasion and is still struggling to rebuild. That's hilarious to me, but also a genius way to capitalize on the shared universe. Major props.
