Pretty great. Super old school. Amazing what a little meta-commentary can do to liven up your basic Mortal Kombat narrative.
Kinda funny that they cast Iko Kuwais to do almost nothing.

I also enjoyed this. I love seeing Tai Chi in martial arts flicks. I especially like that Jet Li's master from Tai-Chi Warriors (a.k.a. Twin Warriors) was also the temple master here too.
Yeah I was all geared up for an epic fight with Iko and then...nothing lol
Yeah, it's a lot of fun. Keanu Reeves should take on more villainous roles
Sure why not?
STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI (Rian Johnson) - 9
STRONGER (David Gordon Green) - 6
THE DISASTER ARTIST (James Franco) - 7

This movie is ridiculous.
Some of the action is pretty good but I didn't think it great or anything. Best fight was probably Tiger's initial interview, or maybe that fight with his master. I was disappointed they didn't end up using that camera technology they were demoing a while back. Apparently they couldn't use it because of the high cost? Too bad.
Had no idea who the screenwriter was so I looked him up... and he works for Capcom. He worked on the translation and English scripts for stuff like Devil May Cry 4 and Resident Evil 6. Huh. I wonder how he got involved in this.
