Got my Halo shoes in the mail today.

The shoe company Globe made a pair of shoes fashioned after Master Chief's armor. Green and black with orange laces. Has 117 written on the side, and under the tongue it says "Spartans never die".

You can't really see it in that pic but the back side of the shoes are contoured to mimic the shape of Chief's armor, and that's where 117 is located.

They came with a pair of spare black laces and Jen said she insists I switch to those because the orange is too clashy, and I was all like "Bitch, please!" :lol:

Gonna be snowed in this weekend and wanted to randomly play an old 360 game I never got around to...either Bioshock or Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. I know Bioshock is supposed to be one of the greatest and all that, but I kinda wanna jump around buildings.

And take your time to really explore the world. Usually when you clear a room/area of enemies you are pretty safe, so look around and take in all the details.

Started Bioshock and can't believe I never got around to it till now. The graphics, particularly the lighting, are great even by todays standards. I'm walking into every room scared as fuck.

I never liked the demo. I s'pose I should give it a shot. It's so horribly expensive these days.

And most people bash 2 but I had a ton of fun with it. Yes it's more of the same but when that same is more Bioshock then I'm not going to complain. The DLC Minerva's Den is fantastic also.

Bioshock 2 was still a lot of fun (and throwing magic with one hand and guns with the other was badass), but like Dead Space 2, it lacked a the soul and absolute terror of the first. Still fun to play though.

amazon also has the Red Dead Redemption: Game of the Year edition for $19.99 which includes the game all the DLC, including Undead Nightmare.

I like Bioshock 2 more than 1. Being able to dual wield really opened up the game and made it way more fun to play.

"Minerva's Den" was even better than the main game, IMO.

It's the scariest game I've played since Silent Hill.
