Whereas in real life there's frustration, lack of clues or just plain genius in deciphering clues, here it feels like an object (so far purses and shoes take the cake) is always conveniently placed next or near the victim.

Also you can just wandered around the crime scene until your controller vibrates because you're standing on a clue.

The Walking Dead is pretty well-done. I felt legitimately bad about letting some dude get eaten by zombies.

Well, like I said before, I got 98.32% with a playtime of 114 hours. Never got bored. I suppose by now you know that in the upper left corner is a smallish radar thingie whenever you're near goodies. Because I didn't from the start. It's the longest I've ever stuck with one game.

What Morris said here is almost exactly my same play through of the game. I didn't even get to the ending of the game until I had around 92% because I had so much fun exploring the map and blowing things up all over the place. I also didn't notice the radar until like 20 hours into the game. But once you do notice it, it is so helpful. Even though I doubt I will ever get all the achievements for the Xbox I am glad they don't have an achievement for getting 100% because that is just way too hard. 98 point something is about right, because that's beating every area in the game. The other 2% is the stuff randomly thrown through out.

I reached lvl 41 last night in Diablo III. I got really lucky and found a rare one handed sword that trumps everything I've seen lately and I threw a perfect gem inside it to almost double the damage given. You start leveling pretty fast after 30... just slicing threw enemies.

Close to the end of Act II but I dont think I'm going to get to 60 by the end. I just looked at my time played, and I'm already approaching 30 hours, which doesn't seem like a lot for lvl 41.

Anyone who's playing, you should turn ELECTIVE MODE on to select the skills individually rather than from the tree.

In a moment of weakness this past weekend, I purchased Diablo 3. I went to canyourunit.com, and my PC passed the test. I bought the game, and then I couldn't install it because my OS wasn't supported. A few hours later I figured out what was wrong, and corrected it. Then I installed the game (after the installer crashing 3 times) and found out my video card wasn't supported, even though it clearly was. So rather than spend the time trying to get a refund, I went and bought a new VC (sounds like my Half Life 2 experience all over again). Got the new VC installed, and, two days and $165 later, I'm finally able to play the game!

So far it's pretty good (I'm a lvl11 Barb), but I probably should have just waited for Torchlight 2.

a couple years ago a friend sold me a bunch of games, some I've played extensively, some I've never put in. Well today I decided to throw in Gears of War. I played it for five minutes before the motion sickness overcame me and I couldn't play it any more. The camera actually moves with the guy's steps and that creates super motion sickness in me. You also can't move to first person which I don't understand why they wouldn't allow you to do so. Looks like I won't be playing that again.

EDIT: Just finished watching Xbox's press conference, and once again I'm disappointed.

Halo 4 looked very good. New enemies? The forerunners perhaps? Very reminiscent of Metroid Prime suddenly.

All the Kinect stuff bored me to tears.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist was promising too, but I've yet to play Conviction so I'm not hyped about the new game yet.

Gears of War: Judgment was a sweet teaser, but nothing to get pumped up about

Tomb Raider looked incredible. The enviroment was just alive with detail. Bring it on!

Resident Evil 6 is going to be amazing. Astonishing action mayhem. Cannot wait.

Cod: Black Ops II was nice, the visuals appear an improvement. Colorful yet visceral. I dug it. An assault on the senses once again, but I'm looking forward to another tour of duty.

Overall, the MS press conference gets a 6.5 from me. Decent, but I guess I always hope for one knockout surprise, and I don't think I saw it.

Yeh it's a new CS: United Offensive. I've been in the beta for a while. It's an upgraded version of CSS. Nothing spectacular, but the charm of the old Cs is there.

As was mine. I was coming from Unreal Tournament and I hated the fact that we actually had to WAIT for the round to be over before we could play again. I was so used to spawning immediately after. I dropped the beta early and returned when it got more advanced and people started making advanced maps like the giant beanstalk ones. So damn fun.

Just watched the new Splint Cell gameplay, it looks good, but Michael Ironside isn't voicing Sam, which is a HUGE blow to this franchise for me.

Yeah, Dead Space should always be single-player, but I assume this option remains?

Also, I forgot, but that live action Halo footage looked good. Will the new Halo have live-action cut scenes? It seemed pretty far out as promotional material, but I guess it's nothing new. Just a few days ago we got the Metro: First Light live action trailer.
