I restarted as a regular knight. I didn't like how the temple knight also had some miracles, because I didn't want to waste any points in magic and intelligence. Going pure melee, with some bow/dex stuff this time. It's definitely a bit harder than my run through with the royal, but I'm liking the knight.

The only magic/miracle I use is 'Second chance'.

Perhaps if I start a new character I'll make a wanker, er, mage.

I like the gameplay of that M&M game a lot, but damn were the load times ever long on the XBLA version. Like ridiculously long. I got tired of waiting so much, so I quit playing it.

I bought Fez and Limbo for XBLA. But first some more Perfect Dark. Some tough times right now. It's really a bit of trail and error on the highest setting, but so far it's not an issue as any game is always tense, thrilling.

I'm pretty damn addicted to Fez. This is one of the deepest XBLA games I've ever played and it doesn't hand hold you at all. There is so much stuff to find and figure out I'm kind of overwhelmed sometimes but in a good way.

I liked to use the Meat Cleaver with the Adjucator Shield on my back. Two hand the meat cleaver, and you still get the regeneration from the Shield.

Then I switched to the Northern Regalia.

EDIT: Got all the Miracles learned, another Gold Trophy down.

I just started my 4th play through last night. Haven't unlocked much. After work, I'll try to get through 2-1 and 2-2 so I can finish off the Uber Weapons trophy.

You don't need to play through it that many times if you're going for platinum. I saw a guide over at http://demonssouls.wikidot.com/ if you want to go for all the trophies. Plus, you have to be willing to do a bit of 'farming'.

Some of the weapons and things require either Pure Black or Pure White World tendency, something thats insanely hard to affect online. Playing offline, however, its rather easy to get a world to black, and possible to turn it back White. According to Demons Souls, May 1-15 all the worlds will be Pure White or Black, and then 16-31 they'll be the opposite, and a supposed 'celebration' on the 31st before the servers close.

Had two different people invade me last night who saluted me before we fought. The first one was some distance off, so it was no big deal. The other guy did it rather close. Four sword swings later, the fight was over. :P

Finally beat 3-2. Had an epic fight with Maneater. Summoned a blue phantom, who died just as the first Maneater went down. Was all alone. Triumphed. My neck muscles were sore after from the tension.

Beat Flamelurker on my first try. Naked, with a shield and +7 Broadsword and +7 Compound Long Bow.

Got my Meat Cleaver and Lava Bow now, and went on a little killing spree in the Nexus to get PBCT - now on to 3-2 to find and kill Yurt.

I was thinking of employing that strategy.

Last night I helped a dude kill the Maneaters, and then I went back to get summoned again. Only this time I was summoned as the old monk, and guess who my target was? Yep, the dude I had just helped. I had to kill him. That was such an awesome experience, that absolutely no other game has ever even come close to producing.

Funny, I was thinking about getting The Witcher 2 today, but really, what's the point? I'll just keep playing the Souls games until that game is $40.

So I'm taking May 31 off for the Demon's Souls celebration that'll be happening on the last day of the servers being active.

Probably the nerdiest day off ever.

I'm starting to like Demon's Souls a lot more on this second run, and as a knight. It feels more like Dark Souls when you don't rely on magic.
