    That's the one.
And it's working out pretty well for ya? Sorry to nag, but I'm seeing some mixed reviews on it, and your Oppo DVD player recommendation a while back was spot on.

It's working fine for me, but like I said I mainly use charge characters, so I don't know how it works with the shotos. Up until SFIV, it was really the only stick available in the US, so it's probably okay. You can also mod it with other parts like Sanwa buttons if you are into that.

I want to play Noby Noby Boy so bad, it's making me consider prioritizing the PS3 over the 360.
Seriously, I must play this amazing-looking thing.

Not quite sold on this one yet. Definitely hasn't peaked my interest like Katamari did.

Noby Noby reminds me in some weird way of Treasure's Stretch Panic, although SP had more of a game to it.

From what I've read, there really isn't a game to Noby Noby - it seems more like an interesting tech demo, but one that I am sure, given the right set of circumstances, could be fun for some people.

I am much more interested in Flower - a game that has swept many a reviewer and blogger of his feet.

So I hope some of you are playing SFIV today.

You are aware when you make statements like these, they're pretty condescending, right?

It looks like a game that explores the joy of doing things and finding things to do. And I'm finding plenty of people online raving about it, too. Guess I'm just one of those people.

    Good for you!

I hope you find hours of enjoyment in it.

By the way, I think you read too much into my original statement.

Noby Noby simply seems like a game made for certain people - a niche game.

I don't think I am part of that niche, yet, although I could be. It's simply that nothing I've seen or read so far leads me to believe that I am part of that niche.

However, given a certain set of circumstances, or mindset, I could see myself enjoying it.

I just have to try it first. I'm not sold yet.

You are - and that is fantastic!

I faced a really good Cammy player today online.

For the most part, the ranked matches went like this:

Ken, Ken, Ken, Ken, Ryu, Ryu, Akuma, Ken, Ken, Ken, Ken, Ryu....etc.

I faced 2 Cammy players, a Zangief, and a couple of Guiles, one was really good.

Has anyone faced another Honda player?

I need to start playing Blanka and Rufus.

Last night I had four people disconnect in a ranked match after I unleashed a first-round beating.

    That sucks.

You should at least get some victory points when the other player disconnects.

I doubt I'll ever play a ranked SF4 match. I just don't have the time to devote to the game to get to the point where I would be able to stand a chance against some of the more dedicated players.

I've faceed a ton of noobs in ranked matches. Basically, if someone chooses Ken or Ryu in a ranked match, there is a very, very good chance that they are noobs. Also, the skill-matching seems to be working for the most part.

The first night I played I was getting my ass beat down, hard, in ranked matches. But recently I've found a good balance. I have a %54 Win ratio right now - not great, but....

I only have about 500 BP right now...my top is almost 700.

That's not too good, but it's fun!

    We need to play today!

Word. Hey, it was fun playing with you and Justin today. Sorry I had to jump off so early. Stupid laundry. We should try and schedule some time, get as many match-cutters on as we can, and have some an SF4 whupassathon.

First look at Harley Quinn from Batman: Arkham Asylum. As I mentioned a few pages back, she will also be voiced by the talent behind her Batman: The Animated Series counterpart, Arleen Sorkin:

It doesn't really matter all that much, but the classic suit would have been a nice touch.

Yikes, that Quinn design is pretty bad.

I finished Dead Space. Derivative story, but I liked the atmosphere, the visuals, the monsters and the zero gravity stuff. The upgrade thing reminded me of Bioshock though.

Still waiting for Fallout 3 (had to order it from a different site, shipping date kept getting delayed by the first one).

Playing Kung Fu Panda out of boredom (my brother got it for free with his Xbox). I'm not impressed.

I'm really surprised by the low number (and quality) of FPS games on the Wii.

You'd think with the controls that they would be knocking them out every chance they had, improving and fine-tuning them as they go.

Grabbed a used copy of 'Little BIG Planet' yesterday. This is FANTASTIC! It's not the construction mechanics that have blown me a way so far. It's actually how innovative the game makers were in employing these tools to make the story mode. Absolutely unparalleled content! Who knows, maybe with a little digging the game'll restore my faith in the user created content scheme.

Played this a bit. Decided it's interesting but not really my thing. I crave objective and narrative and whatnot.

So far, it's pretty much flawless about 90% of the time.

    I am incredibly impressed.
