Well I used to play a lot of guitar for people, but those classically trained ones are lunatics. You can fall down a real rabbit hole in docs and youtube if youre not careful. Theyre all Michael Jordans. Its like the old saying, "the janitor in Nashville is a better guitar player than most people on Earth".
I'm saddened. It doesn't look like Resident Evil.
I think I might get platinum on Control on my first playthrough.

I did too! I was so into it, and the requirements aren’t too time-consuming, that it almost happened naturally.
Neither did Resident Evil 7 necessarily, but that's part of the reason why it was able to give the series the overdue refreshal that it needed (and for that matter, 4 looked nothing like what we thought of as being Resident Evil at the time, but it's still the most-acclaimed of all the main entries). On the other hand, 6 "looked like" RE (at least as far as it had zombies as the main monsters) and look at how disappointing that was, so I don't care that much how "RE" it looks, just so long as they keep things fresh.
Yeh I suppose. RE7 still had a dark horror factor.

Finally fired up the FFVII remake. That scorpion bastard makes you learn the game mechanics right quick.

Yeah, but that's why I feel it looks as intriguing as it does, and makes me glad that Capcom's trying to keep the series fresh (at least, as far as the setting goes), instead of just repeating the same basic elements that 7 or any of the previous ones had; I'm definitely a lot more interested in seeing some batshit Transylvanian-style shenanigans than see the series double down on going Michael Bay on us again, you know?
Been playing Prominence Poker online quite a bit recently. Picked up a $10 game called Space Crew last night and played through the tutorial. Seems fun. Also picked up Civilization 6. I've never played any of them and I've heard it's a real time-eater, but I've always been curious. Tutorial for that game appears to be next to non-existent, though, so I've barely touched it.

Let's not forget when the trailers first starting pumping out for RE4, people were pissed that it didn't look like a typical RE game.

And I can understand expanding on the European lore a bit more like the Las Plagas. But I just like a good zombie story with a couple of mutated bosses. Bring us back to the roots. Things are getting too out of control with the mutations and monsters.

I can't wait to play it on PS5. The only problem I had with it on PS4 was frame rate stuff. And considering how bonkers that game is visually, I don't blame my OG PS4.
PS5 it runs beautifully. I had it in graphics mode so I could have all the pretty ray tracing and higher resolution. Looked and played fab.
