It's been the gun shooting that's annoyed me the most. Trying to lock into someone has been very difficult.
I've gotten new "eyes" so we'll see if that changes it.

I played the crap out of two and three and Will eventually play the Fourth one. It's kinda bliss having such a huge game world, but unrestricted by tight narratives and hand holding. They're kinda repetitive too of course, but my god does shit explode really sweet.

Yes. But Sony the pandemic was already alive and well when Sony assured that they had made tons and tons of them and there would be absolutely no shortages, and guaranteed steady waves of them being released all through the holiday season.
They lied.
I also think their claims that PS5 sold more units at launch than any other PS console at launch are utter BS.
Last I read there was less than 40% the number of PS5's released at launch than PS4's at that launch. So how is it mathematically possible for them to have sold more units than the PS4 launch?
I honestly don't care about the fact that I won't get a PS5 for months. I bought 15 PS4 games to keep me busy.
What is bothering me is the sheer amount of blatant lying that has been done by the entire video game industry this entire year.

I mean, it's virtually impossible to get a 3080 right now and nVidia said the same thing. It's no different than any other major corporate marketing spin. My local lumbermill just charged me a full $1/sqft over the $4.5 rate because he said supply chains in Canada are fucked. Best not to get too hung up over it. These things are going to happen.
I'm kinda glad I didn't get that PS5 the other day. Just spent the equivalent buying a new toilet, bidet, 200A power panel for my basement project.

I distinctly remember the number 40%. That it was said there was less than 40% of what was available for PS4's at launch.
Something I didn't know until reading this article, though, is that it sounds like ther have been some major production issues. That the main chip in the PS5 units weren't coming out properly, to the point that 50% weren't usable.
That's pretty wild.

I’ve been eyeballing the Gladiator ever since it came out. I’ll be getting a truck eventually, but as long as I have a company vehicle for personal use, it’s not a priority.
