Thats my guess. That way you can still play bad guys but on a good mission.Quoting Ezee E (view post)

I spent $50 on indie games so naturally I'm playing State of Decay 2, a game I got for "free" via GamePass.
It's a third-person action RPG mixed with base building in real time. Sorta a mix of Diablo III and X-Com, but dumber and much more shallow.
Its saving grace is excellent combat versus hordes of zombies. There isn't quite anything like barely surviving getting viscously torn apart, Day of the Dead style.
I'm not a gun guy by any stretch, but I've also learned quite a bit about the differences between shotguns, rifles, and assault weapons, what takes what caliber, how big the mags (?) are, and what weapon makes less significantly noise than others. (Shotguns work well against zombies, but zombies are also attracted to sound; fire one and you'll be swarmed in no time).
So at least I got that going for me.
So you've just been playing those games to skip DukeTV?
Lemme put it this way: I've played State of Decay 2 so much I almost PM'd Scar for advice on pistols with good stopping power and long range rifles than can handle both single shot and full auto.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
But I also thought DukeTV was on semi-permanent hiatus because of the move? Tbh, I haven't been paying attention to much outside of killing zombies and saving civilization.
Hehe no you're correct. Still getting settled. I didn't even know you have been reading the site, or knew I moved.Quoting Irish (view post)
TBH, I've missed you like hell as I put together my office. So much that I got drunk one night thinking of you.
Duke quit trying to sweet talk Irish.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
You and I both know he's not the only member of this board that you get drunk and think about.
Aw, shit, man. You'll get me teary eyed. I've been keeping tabs on the site here and there. I've missed y'all too.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
Not gonna comment on that thread tho, lol
I knew it!Quoting Irish (view post)

Gibson confirmed.
Re-bought Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3, what a tremendously fun dumb game. Hadn't played in over a decade, and five seconds in remembered how everything worked. Stringing together a one-minute trick is just goddamn ridiculous.
Well this thread took a turn.
It is seriously great to see you, Irish. I always miss ya when you're not around.

Okay so a couple of months ago both Sony and Microsoft said that there would be no shortage of their next gen systems at launch.
Now Sony is reporting that the PS5 will be seriously limited and hard to get right at launch.
Between this and the fact that we STILL don't know a release date or price for either console...what the hell is going on?
Production problems due to COVID?
Too much of a rush to get them out for this holiday season?
Problems with the systems themselves?
All of the above?
I even read something that said Sony was going to sent out pre-order invites to existing Sony customers. That might help cut back the third party sales which has been a huge problem with launches like this.
But why did they go from "we got tons", to "not many people are going to get one"?
Hot damn the commercials they're playing on TV for The Avengers are painfully bad.
The game doesn't look great to begin with, but they are borderline pandering with the PC inclusiveness stuff.
Having Ms. Marvel say "our differences are our greatest superpower!" makes me groan every time it airs.
My presumption is that they are being manufactured in China, and all the factories are way backed up due to being shut down for a time due to covid. I've got several kickstarters being delayed by months for this very reason.Quoting megladon8 (view post)
Losing is like fertilizer: it stinks for a while, then you get used to it. (Tony, Hibbing)
Well, I am a white man in Canada. Maybe they should have a little more consideration for my needs.Quoting bac0n (view post)
I want a PS5 NOW.
Every time I see the Avengers game I feel like it looks fun and polished. Top tier? Does it matter? It looks playable and spectacular.
