They have a playable demo in their booth but don't show gameplay during the presentation? Lame.
I think I saw glimpses of Tony flying and hulk smashing and shit, but mostly it was cut scenes.... so annoyed.
Night MC.
I was making fun of the one guy introducing the characters, which we had just seen, and telling us what they could do, right after we saw them do it.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
Oh duh. Yeh. Everything is "incredible". Or "Amazing"
Apparently some Marvel fans were pissed at the presentation but I really wanna see how it plays. I dig games that center around 4-player online co-op whatever.
Will it be Left 4 Dead style of play? I'd be down for that.
Who knows. They didn't show us jack shit.Quoting Ezee E (view post)
You can see a little gameplay (i think ) at 1:07 and 1:19
^ Sequel to Breath of the Wild
Didn't see that coming
^ Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 trailer (with actual gameplay!)
Extended demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ql1sY9koDQU
- 4 player couch co-op.
- Wide range of characters from different parts of the Marvel Universe, including X-Men, Marvel Knights, and Guardians of the Galaxy. The extended vid showcases Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Luke Cage, and Spider-Gwen playing as a team.
- Special abilities available depending on your team comp, eg: You can bounce Tony's repulsor rays off Cap's shield or use Thor's hammer to electrify Storm's tornadoes.
- Art direction looks world's better than whatever the hell Crystal Dynamics showed off.
This is exactly what I wanted from a Marvel game. Unfortunately remains a Switch exclusive, which sucks.

Whoa, I'm all over that shit.
Losing is like fertilizer: it stinks for a while, then you get used to it. (Tony, Hibbing)
Yep me and the daughter beat both Avengers games on normal and hard. Because of that trailer (and I think the boys have ignored it long enough) I moved they 360 I bought them for Christmas into my office. Handful of games I haven't played yet. Starting with Tomb Raider. I honestly didn't even know Crystal Dynamics was still around. Back in my 3DO buying days I always thought of them as a mark of a quality game. NO idea if that was even accurate. I'll have to look up all the games they made.
OMFG.

Don’t know if anyone here enjoys old school arcade racers. I grew up on Ridge Racer, Rage Racer, F-Zero, etc. and really miss that style of game.
If anyone else feels the same, I strongly suggest checking out Onrush.
It’s part Ridge Racer, part Twisted Metal.
You’re in a car, on a track. But you’re not actually racing. It’s more about taking our opponents by crashing into them or forcing them to crash, while also having other objectives like passing through gates, that sort of thing.
Like a great fighting game, it’s easy to learn but hard to master. Tons of little nuances.
Having lots of fun with it.
I love battle race games. Absolutely loved Crash & Burn for 3DO back in the day.
Great rec, Meg. OnRush looks damned good. I dig the idea of continuous racing, no finish lines.
I loved Road Rash and Twisted Metal 2 back in the day.
ETA: Has this been out for awhile? It's only ~$15 on PS4 and XBox!

Road Rash was damn game changer. I remember many nights renting it and its sequels and chugging Jolt cola to stay up all night playing as long as we could on the rental.
Is that VO guy the same guy that does the old tech repairs channel?
I think the Square-Enix press conference broke Dukefrukem, lol.
Anyway, I may spring for Collection of Mana. Made by M2, masters of modern emulation.
And the Trials of Mana remake (3D remake of Seiken Densetsu 3 which was never released in the US) looks fantastic as well:
JRPGs rule.
The severed arm perfectly acquitted itself, because of the simplicity of its wishes and its total lack of doubt.
I’ve some great memories of playing Burnout Revenge at Scar’s place back in the day.
There was a mode where you tried to get as many cars to crash as you could before you yourself were taken out - made all the better by Scar blasting Ride of the Valkyries while we were playing it.
What I wouldn’t give for a remaster if that game...

I miss arcade racers. Hydro Thunder on dreamcast. I would love a remaster. Or its spiritual arcade successor H2O Overdrive. Anyone recall split/second? San francisco rush on the n64!!
