I really enjoyed the other two Metro games; they were super atmospheric. This one also looks to be a solid entry in the series.
Metro games are great. I think the expectation is this will be more thansolid. But we'll see.
EDIT: Looks like they're going outdoors in earnest. Hope not too often, looks like Rage now.

I haven't tried it too scaywry.
But I am seriously considering giving RE7 a go: what I have heard is it's one of the best games in the franchise as well as one of the best VR experiences available. But scaywy

Played it on a regular PS4 and almost jumped twice. If you play it in VR, might want to get some diapers.

Yeah, RE7's first two hours or so is as nerveracking as it gets.
PT is probably the scariest of anything I've played. Couldn't imagine if that was on VR.
Agreeed. I'm back from the Bahamas on Weds and I'm immediately buying RE2. I played the one shot demo before I left and it was so nostalgic I got chills in addition to being so different at times. Haven't felt that way since MGS4
Is the story different in the new RE2? I remember loving the approach it had forever ago, but I'd rather not replay the whole story with upgraded graphics.
I'm not sure the story is going to change much. The puzzles are all different though. And the game play is like dead space meaning you can walk and aim.
^ Qualified praise for the "Anthem" demo by Jim Sterling, which makes me think this game might be actually good.
OTOH, it's still EA and fuck them.
I read recently that they’re having some horrid online problems with it.
