I've seen some graphics. Looks like a smoother Batman Arkham game.

Since the Wii Store discontinued Wii points this past month, I bought 50 bucks worth before the points system shut down. Used it to buy:

    Mario Kart 64 (N64)
Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (N64)
    Earthworm Jim (Genesis)
    Super Street Fighter II (Genesis)
    Super Mario Bros 2 (NES)
    Super Mario Bros 3 (NES)
    Star Tropics (NES)

Funnily, the one I've most been enjoying so far is Star Tropics. Cheap Zelda clone but has that same pleasure of adventure/exploration gotta-find-one-more-thing. Never played Majora before, but its low-poly low-res graphics look almost quaint and idiosyncratic now. It'd be interesting if that sort of blocky game design came back as a deliberate retro choice for games in the future.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

Crazy, right? Button scheme feels a touch weird on Nintendo controllers, but yeah, I have the original Sonic on my Wii.

    Still playing Monster Hunter World.

Had a conversation with D_Davis and we both agree the monster designs are lacking. Other than a few standouts (Paoluma, Barroth, a couple others), it’s pretty much Dinosaur Dragon Hunter World.

There’s the T Rex. The small dragon. The bigger dragon. The blue dragon. The blue small T Rex. The really big dragon. The dragon with horns. The tiny dragons. The tiny T Rexes.

I beat the game and yeah, a little disappointing in the design variety.

Not a gamer by any stretch of the imagination, but I enjoyed Witcher 3, so looking for recommendations along those lines. The only other game I’ve played in the last ten years is GTA V which I also enjoyed.

EDIT: Available on Steam, if possible.

Are you just looking for sandboxy games? Because there's an excellent one that is free this weekend on steam. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands - It has the biggest map area I've ever seen in a game.

Didnt see it. Is it available for the PS3 and not the PS4?

Part of me wants to get Alien Isolation.

I would recommend Bloodborne over Dark Souls. It's a bit more combat friendly, but still punishing.
    Sure why not?

STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI (Rian Johnson) - 9
STRONGER (David Gordon Green) - 6
THE DISASTER ARTIST (James Franco) - 7
THE FLORIDA PROJECT (Sean Baker) - 9
LADY BIRD (Greta Gerwig) - 8

    Very Nice!

There is something ridiculously satisfying about setting up Overwatch ambushes in XCOM 2 and taking out whole squads at once.

Trans - have you played any of the Witcher 3 expansions? Blood and Wine in particular is outstanding.
