It's not futuristic cuz no hoverstuff, but the design and general feeling seems to be geared towards insane tracks and wild fun!

And yes, at 0:39, that appears to be a genuine track in the game.

Multiple reports are saying Nintendo will stop making WiiUs by the end of the year and they are getting ready to unveil a new console at E3 this year.

It's code named the NX (hopefully not because NEXT) and I guess this move is due to Nintendo selling a 10th of the units they did with the Wii (which I called a fad.... and was right ).

Wii U did not.

Wii was the fad that Nintendo thought they could replicate with the WiiU.

If there is a new console, this is really disappointing because it doesn't give Nintendo customers confidence to invest in a console. Why would someone spend $300 for support/games for 3 years?

I will NOT buy another Nintendo console. The last two I've purchased - Gamecube and WiiU - were poorly supported by just about everyone, including Nintendo.

Sure, there were some amazing games on the GC, and I really love the potential and some of the games on the WiiU, but Nintendo abandons its hardware too quickly.

It's like the WiiU was put out to die before it was even released. It's really too bad. I love it's potential, and the hardware is great, but there isn't enough support. Much like the Vita.

I really wish Nintendo would just go 3rd party and make their games for the other consoles and PC. But that won't happen.

I actually went ahead and ordered a copy because this looks so good. Wasn't even on my radar til you brought it up here.

You have got to be kidding me. I literally bought Sunset Overdrive yesterday, and today it's announced as a free Game With Gold in April.

I find 2D games significantly more difficult than 3D.

Right on. It's all about timing your rolls.

The first boss is actually one of the hardest ones, because its the one that teaches you the timing and boss mechanics. You'll blow through the next 5 or so, with some difficult ones a little later (The Tree of Men was damn hard).

I'm in the Valley of Defilement / Blighttown part of the game now, and it continues to be awesome. Can't believe how great the game is. So much to see and do.

So are the environments varied? I haven't watched any videos or anything, so I've only seen the first area which admittedly I find a little boring to look at.

Tons of variety. Swamps, dungeons, forests, temples, castles, pyramids, deserts.... There are something like 23 distinct areas.

From the makers of Resogun. Looks insanely awesome. So cool too to see Housemarque's origins go all the way back to 1993 when Bloodhouse, which later became Housemarque, released Stardust for the Amiga 500. Needless to say, that game blew everyone away back then too with its amazing graphics.



Don't laugh. This was huge back in 1993 especially the tunnel bit (9:53).

This year's COD rumoured to be a full on sci fi game taking place in the distant future.

Rumours abound sony's working on a more powerful PS4.5 which would be capable to handle 4K and more complex VR games.

Wall Street Journal says new PS to be confirmed before October this year. Not sure how this makes me feel. That said, if it can effectively handle 4K resolution with good framerates, preferably 60 fps, then I might sell the old PS4 and get the new one. Big chance I probably will. This might be good news for those interested in VR.

Uhm, that being said, I may have overlooked the fact that I don't yet have a 4K television.
