I'm wondering if it will apply to your digital library as well. I have a huge collection of games downloaded on my 360.

Also wonder if you will still obtain Gamerscore when playing 360 games on the XBone, or if it's just emulation?

But this is a really exciting announcement regardless.

Microsoft has definitely learned their lesson from last year. Almost all of the games shown are exclusives.

Solid B+ showing. My expectations were low to start but there was a lot of good stuff, a lot of question and no big finish. ( I guess Gears 4 was supposed to be a big reveal)

The HoloLens stuff is cool, but other than WATCHING someone play video games, what else are they going to do with it?
Backwards compatibility; the biggest thing for me, allows me to buy a Xbone and get rid of my 360. (Finally)
Halo 5 and Recore look OK.
Rise of the Tomb Raider, they're still calling this an Xbox exlsuive even though we know it's BS. Kinda funny.
Surprise! No COD anything during the show, which leads me to believe Sony has locked up a bunch of exclusive DLC crap.
The Division and Dark Souls will obviously becoming to other platforms.

So does anyone know if there was really audible outrage at the Doom 4 conference/showing?

The Mirror is reporting that the audience was disgusted by the over-the-top violence in the gameplay demo, but I heard none of that while watching the videos.

It seems like they just latched onto a couple of statements from bloggers and tried to make a sensationalist article out of a couple of isolated opinions.

EDIT: Sorry, misread. The audience wasn't disgusted it was the bloggers (and the author of the article) who were disgusted, and even more so by the fact that the crowd was cheering it on.

There's been talk of a Titan Fall sequel in development so I did kind of expect that would be a cornerstone of MS' show.

I watched about half of thE trailer before turning it off. It seemed hyper-violent, even for a DOOM game. Also, since Carmack bolted I find myself a lot less interested in anything id does.
