“What we are dealing with here is a perfect engine, er... an eating machine. It's really a miracle of evolution. All this machine does is swim and eat and make little sharks and that's all.”
I played some RDR2 last night, was in Rhodes (smallish southern town) and happened upon a dapper gentleman who had his stagecoach/mobile apothecary stolen by a bunch of assholes and taken to some bayou hold up. Well, I went to the bayou, killed all the assholes and rode the stagecoach back to town. Only thing is, my horse is still in the bayou. Sumbitch!
Question: if I buy a new horse, will all the stuff I have on the old horse transfer over to the new one?

Losing is like fertilizer: it stinks for a while, then you get used to it. (Tony, Hibbing)
I believe you have to swap saddles. Your lost horse will show up at the stables or camp.Quoting bac0n (view post)

Started Resident Evil 2 last night. It's glorious. The perfect blend of nostalgia and sleek new gameplay. Loving it.

^ My next blind buy.
(A little too cartoony for my taste but after "Breath of the Wild," I will follow Link anywhere.)
Oh God, I saw that. Link's Awakening is my favorite of the Zelda games I've played. I don't know that a remake is required when the original still works well, but hell, if it means more people get to experience the adventure, that's a good thing. And the toyetic, almost clay-looking graphics. Mmm.
Unless the horse is submerged (read: dead) in which case you cannot retrieve the saddle I think. Happened to me in Saint Denis.Quoting Scar (view post)

Either way I have a walk on my hands: either back to camp or over to the bayou. Maybe I'll put on some CCR and have a nice walkabout north/northeast.Quoting Morris Schæffer (view post)

You'll likely come across a horse very soon that you can... borrow.Quoting bac0n (view post)
I wonder if I can catch a ride on a wild boar. Seems to be plenty of them around Rhodes.Quoting Ezee E (view post)

Try setting up a camp, and sleeping for awhile. That might bring your main horse over.Quoting bac0n (view post)

I want to virtual hug you for having the Condemned games on your list.
Seriously underappreciated titles.
Pants-crappingly scary.
Both of them are excellent. It's a shame they weren't commercial successes because we would have got a third. I've been waiting years for the Bloodshot to come to PC so I could replay it and it's held up in some publishing rights somewhere.
Funny note, Condemned 2: Bloodshot was the first game I ever "streamed" back when Twitch was Justin.tv. and I literally had my webcam pointed at my TV while I was playing. The quality was horrible.
Condemned was scary. The Suffering fucked up my life.
Fairly sure I played Condemned but don't remember.
Sounds like Anthem is a massive disappointment.
*sigh* what the hell happened to you, BioWare?
Bioware always sucked at online. (That's why I thought the game would be junk when it was first announced.)
And the company pretty much died when the sold out to EA.
Haven't checked recently ... but like Blizzard, I'm pretty sure everyone who was involved in their heyday has long since left the company
ETA: Which really bums me out because both companies were my favorite developers. Now they've become horrific zombie versions of themselves.

The difference is Bioware was forced into making this game, rather than making something they actually wanted to do. E.g. Mass Effect 4, 5 and 6. EA told them, "we need a sustainable Destiny clone to micros-transact to make up for our disastrous 2 launch"
I bought Mario Odyssey and Resident Evil 4 (PS4) again. Look forward to a 2nd playthrough of the Capcom classic. As soon as I'm done with RDR2 and God of War.
