Yeah I ended up going to assisted mode for that final boss fight against William. I was just completely screwed going into the fight.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
Once I went assisted I beat him on the second try.

"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"
"Rick...it's a flamethrower."
Throw Prometheus, Dead Space, and At the Mountains of Madness in a blender, and the result will look something like Returnal.
People anxious for a return to Dead Space might want to check this out.

Me: hey cool! The new Battlefield game is futuristic! Maybe this'll be one I'm interested in getting!

I did so bad on today's daily challenge in Returnal that I ranked 5 out of 3...

At least I'll be remembered...

Elden Ring, the new long-awaited FromSoftware/Hidetaka Miyazaki/George R.R. Martin gig, finally gets a proper trailer.
Looks wild but definitely in the same ballpark, for those who loves the various series.
"How is education supposed to make me feel smarter? Besides, every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out of my brain. Remember when I took that home wine-making course and forgot how to drive?"

Looks incredible and I can't wait. But I see absolutely nothing of Martin in there so far.

Hard to get a handle on the aesthetic. But whatever, it’ll almost certainly be my game of the year.
Control is free on Epic Game Store FYI to all.
Elden Ring trailer is a nice cinematic, but what's the gameplay? A couple times in there, it sure looked like Dark Souls with an updated skin.
Also, Elden Ring and Elder Scrolls sounds almost guaranteed to be a trademark dispute.
Jeff Gerstmann just spent 5K on an Alienware PC and a 3090, and he can't get anything to work on it.

I'll stick with my PS5. I like knowing a game will work when I buy it.

Consoles have way more problems than PCs. The whole Cyperpunk fiasco is exhibit #1Quoting megladon8 (view post)
Just joking around.
The Avatar game looks like Avatar all right. But I imagine it'll be typical Ubisoft stuff which I'm pretty tired of.

Is Cyberpunk well revered on PC?Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
Nah, Just the really jenky glitches are on console.Quoting Ezee E (view post)
All the falling through the map stuff was on PC but there's some weird things going on in that game that I never saw playing on PC.
I'm a couple gens behind, but I've never had console issues outside of xbox. PC has been nonstop issues since '93.
Also, theres an Avatar [blue cats avatar] game en route, so dont bother with the vids expecting a movie trailer.
Makes sense they would coordinate this with the sequels release. It's made by Ubisoft/Massive (same devs as Division), so it's definitely something I would check out.Quoting Skitch (view post)
Yah I would prolly fuck with it too, but I got title clickbaited expecting movie trailer. Idiot me lol
I think Massive working on this (and they also have a Star Wars game in the works) is taking away time to support the Division. Which is a huge loss for Division lovers like myself.
First big Avatar game? That took longer than one would expect. Also, that’s the first time I’ve heard of Luna.
I just don't find the world of Avatar interesting at all. Every aspect of it has been done better. The only standout was the 3D tech when viewing in theaters. Not having that, it's beyond generic.
If it is a typical Ubisoft game, then there's nothing there for me.
"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"

Yeh that's fair. The Sequels really need to do something new to get people interested in that world again. It might be the underwater aspect we are hearing about. It would be cool to explore land, under water and space all in 1 game.
Agreed! That I could be down for.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
Underwater definitely peaks my interest. Would love a cool underwater game.

Also why is no one here talking about the Evil Dead game that is the best looking thing from E3 this year?

Looked like a carbon copy of Dead By Dawn to me. Which is fine, but not shocking.Quoting megladon8 (view post)
