Oh that's cool, I'll have to try it again and figure out that rocket dodge.
The bosses are epic, and it would be fun to be able to do a bosses only speedrun.

Tim is back and does not disappoint.
The severed arm perfectly acquitted itself, because of the simplicity of its wishes and its total lack of doubt.
THanks for this. I need a change.Quoting StuSmallz (view post)
19-minute Elden Ring preview. Hell yeah.
Looks like Dark Souls with better graphics. Less dead guys.
And a Breath of the Wild style open world. Stealth. Crafting. Unique dungeons everywhere with cool bosses and loot.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
Define "cool bosses"
Challenging and varied, with neat/creepy art design. In the above 30 minutes of unedited gameplay, he fought five different bosses, all very unique from one another: a small frenzied beast, a levitating rat king, a towering behemoth with a flail, an acrobatic sword dude in a spirit jail, and the main area boss who has speaking lines/lore, weapon summons, and a scorpion tail. Not in the video is a massive dragon who guards a lake. There's probably more I haven't seen yet -- and that's just the first area of the game.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
I will be taking a week off on release.

What kind of difficulty are we talking for Elden Ring? I want to play a new game, but won't be in on something like Dark Souls
Miyazaki had said they have done some work on opening up accessibility, but doesn't believe it's an "easy Souls game". For example, where the SoulsBorne games and Sekiro all had challenging timing based parry systems, here you can just hold your shield up constantly and counter using a very forgiving timed button press when an enemy hits your shield. But to keep it balanced, these counter attacks are no longer one-hit kills.Quoting Ezee E (view post)

It'll be hard. But my gut is telling me it will be their most accessible game yet, mainly due to the open world. Exploring/grinding will be more fun if you run into a skill-check boss. You can go explore some dungeons rather than slam your head against a wall over and over. Plus, the checkpoint system looks to be the more forgiving than ever, so fewer long treks to the bosses.
The GTA trilogy "definitive edition" is an embarassment. It is also as bad as Nintendo's N64 stuff on the Switch.
Rockstar seriously needs to go quiet until GTA6.

Just cashing in some money since they aren't releasing anything is what it seems.Quoting megladon8 (view post)
Yes for sure, but the lack of any effort at all is insulting.Quoting Ezee E (view post)
The graphics somehow look worse, they didn't even attempt to get the licensing back to all the music, very little was done to modernize controls.
It's shameless.

After many months of inactivity I jumped into bloodborne again after being stuck last time with no idea of where to go. Searched online for vague enough clues, read something about forbidden woods and a general idea of where the entrance might be. That triggered a memory of a door being locked and a password being needed to pass. Found it and it worked. Turns out I never went back there after I defeated Vicar Amelia. A new area now. Good to know this game has me ensnared once again. And I kinda would like to be able to say I completed it.

Freaking Titanfall 2.
Anyone who hasn't played it is doing a serious disservice to themselves.
One of the best shooter campaigns of all time.

Started Prey (2017) today.
Seems like it could potentially be a pretty intriguing piece of sci Fi.
And like most immersive sims I've played (which is admittedly not many), I get the feeling that you will get out of it what you put into it.
