It includes the original game AND Red Alert. Holy shit. My childhood is about to be ruined or reconfirmed.
Making me feel old, Stalker...Quoting Idioteque Stalker (view post)
My childhood game was Karateka on an Apple IIe
EDIT: Oh, and Taipan (I think that was the name). However, once my mom realized I was smuggling opium in that game, she made me stop playing it.

To be fair, C&C (along with Rollercoaster Tycoon) was my first real video game love. I associate my earlier childhood, however, with Wolfenstein and then some educational/adventure games such as Gizmos and Gadgets, Treasure Mountain, Dr. Quandary, Reader Rabbit, and Lenny's Music Toons.
Oh man.. do I need to make another "lets find stuff" thread?
Where to begin...
Prototype vs Infamous is the crossover I didnt realize I needed.

It's Red Dead Redemption 2, it's actually right there in the link.

Rumors of a Demons Souls remaster. I’ll believe it when I see it, then I’ll squee like a school girl.

I bought all three Dark Souls games when they were on various sales (tried to get special editions when I could) but have played none of them yet. I have no reason for this.
However, I bought Hades when it was also on sale and boy howdy holy shit this game is clean as hell and executed super well. I love the art style, the roguelite mechanics, the replayability, the base game challenge and later ability to up the challenge incrementally by a lot and in different ways, the voice acting, the sweet mixing of abilities and weapon enhancements, the Greek pantheon theme (cause I'm a sucker for that, and they get it pretty right too) and shit even the ability to romance a female character, a male character or even a floating Gorgon head if you want. I'm obsessed. It's terrific. Highly recommended if you enjoyed Bastion and/or Transistor, from the same company. It's effortlessly impressive and still in Early Access, tho there's a good bit of content to do (and redo, as the genre goes).

That would be incredible. The only Souls game I never beat.Quoting Scar (view post)
Demon's Souls is my favorite PS3 game. I dunno if I need a remaster right now but I'd still love to see it just so more people get into it, especially with the exploding popularity of the Dark Souls franchise. I've talked to a lot of people who played and loved the Dark Souls games but completely missed Demon's Souls, so it'd be a great PS5 launch title.
What I'd really love to see though is some kind of King's Field remaster or collection. There's an incredibly long lineage of these games at From Software, and for every person I know who hasn't played Demon's Souls, there's gotta be like fifty who haven't even heard of King's Field. I know those games are older than the dinosaurs now but I'd love to see some effort there in (re)appraising their software history. I've never played Shadow Tower, actually, so that's something else they could remake/remaster. They might be too old for mainstream audiences to care, though, who knows.

Hi Meg, Thursday the PS5 will be shown. And the writer of Dead Space, Antony Johnston, is going to show his newest game. Probably not Dead Space 4 though.
He dropped this hint: you play a character having a really bad time.

I mean.. that sounds like Isacc Clark to me. But it could also be Resident Evil 8.Quoting Morris Schæffer (view post)
The Dead Space writer would translate nicely to Resident Evil.
God I hope it's Dead Space.
But it's 2020, so if it is a Dead Space game, it'll be a free to play MOBA with micro transactions.
