I'm nearing the end of Dead Space. Yeah, the experience so far has been fantastic. A few gripes nonetheless although this would be nitpicking.

1)There are tons of save stations strewn across the Ishimura (at least on medium) which reduces the tension and pants-wetting terror somewhat.

    2) The game's total lack of cinematic cutscenes. In a way cool because the experience remains fluid, immersive at all times, but I think that a few monster introductions could really have made these abberrations more disgusting, more terrifying.

Then it would rip off Doom 3 even more.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

Persona 4's voice acting seems worse than Persona 3. I wish you could play these games in Japanese with the English subs, I suppose it was a space issue when games were on DVD.

The Ghostbusters game is pretty damn fun. There's a certain unfettered joy in waving the Wii wand like a positron collider.

I just beat an evil chef, so I'm calling it a night.

I agree P4's voice acting is worse than P3. Yukiko and Chie's voice actors were especially off to me at first, but they grew on me.

I'm playing through Prince of Persia and yeah, you cannot die in this game...

for a minute i almost quit playing but i'm finding extremely relaxing to run through this beautiful landscape without worries.

But the Sands of Time trilogy is far better than this.

They're making a video game based on Lars Von Trier's AntiChrist. It's called Eden.

    Sure why not?

STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI (Rian Johnson) - 9
STRONGER (David Gordon Green) - 6
THE DISASTER ARTIST (James Franco) - 7
THE FLORIDA PROJECT (Sean Baker) - 9
LADY BIRD (Greta Gerwig) - 8

The first few levels are retreads from the original film - I fought Slimer, then Stay Puft. But the cast voices sound great, and I'm enjoying the cartoony look of the Wii version. Very expressive and cheerful. The models for Venkman and Zeddemore are fantastic caricatures. The sound effects are perfect. And I'm loving how they got the rights to use Elmer Berstein's original score. It fits like a glove.

As for the gameplay, it's a little repetitive. Most of the action so far has revolved around blasting at ghosts to weaken, swinging the Wiimote to stun, then bowling the Nunchuk to trap. There are some fun actions sideways to the game: you can earn money by destroying a location, and you can also collect pages from Tobin's Spirit Guide. There's a scan system that reminds me of the Metroid series.

Average reviews put it at around an 8 or so, and I think that's fair.

PC only, because apparently part of the function of the game is that it downloads bizarre/morbid news clippings and videos from the internet, which affects your character's reaction... or something. It's supposed to be a very dark game.

A repetetive game on the Wii? GET OUTTA HERE!!

(*getting a lot of mileage with that particular smiley*)

Been playing inFAMOUS. I've got my High Fall ability one tick away from full power, but it's still wonderfully damaging. With this power, you jump off a building and hit the square button. Your character charges up and when he hits the ground it goes BOOM!! and sends out a wave that makes cars explode and throws people around like ragdolls. Also, taller building, wider damage radius. It's fricken SWEET. I spent a long time last night looking for groups of cars to High Fall into.

    Y'know, that game's on the PS3 and 360, too.

Trying to decide if I want to buy the Wii or PS2 version.

Yeah, I have to very strongly disagree there. There is only one game since I have owned the Wii in which I can say I chose the Wii version over the 360, and that is Tiger Woods 2010. I like the Wii and everything, but it cannot compete with the titles that the 360 gets. For every good title the Wii within the past couple of months, the 360 has about 4 times that. The Wii is good for that initial value of "hey look at how cool this is" until you figure out it is easier to trick the system into thinking you are actually doing the controls, when you are really sitting on your ass doing an obnoxious flicking motion.
