    Superhero Movie

    http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=41516

Well.... it looks better than Meet the Spartans.

That's all I can say about that.
    Sure why not?

STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI (Rian Johnson) - 9
STRONGER (David Gordon Green) - 6
THE DISASTER ARTIST (James Franco) - 7
THE FLORIDA PROJECT (Sean Baker) - 9
LADY BIRD (Greta Gerwig) - 8

I really hope it ends up spoofing more than just Spider-Man, because just from that trailer I was getting tired of it.

And speaking of tired...the breakdancing scene? Does every comedy have to have one of those now?

I'm just saying, from the trailer, it's simply a spoof of Spider-Man.

But the title, Superhero Movie, implies a spoof of the whole genre.

Which will inevitably be followed by the MC Spoof Movie Consensus.

Which sadly too many of us will be able to participate in. Airplane! and Blazing Saddles will probably be the highest rated flicks and the only ones to receive scores higher than 9's (wait I almost forgot about Young Frankenstein and a couple others I can't remember at the moment).

This doesn't look good by any means, but it looks more promising than Meet the Spartans.

indeed. at least they are true to the concept instead of throwing references around.

    it's still unfunny though.

I'm feeling particularly low today, but some of that was funny. Nielsen shooting that guy with the nail gun and Christopher McDonald doing anything. I won't see it, but it doesn't look completely awful.
