Looks like James Marsden to me.Quoting MadMan (view post)
It is fake and it is Marsden, I believe. I just liked the look of it and I think Marsden could be a great choice.

His agent is currently refuting the claim on Twitter.
Just seems like damage control to me. The studio doesn't care to dispute anything either.Quoting Dead & Messed Up (view post)
Saw that too. Looks like a negotiation that went off the rails. Started as a "No, I'm not gonna fucking swing in for a day on Shazam" and escalated quickly.

Hilarious reddit post btw
"f you need to take a breather from /r/DC_Cinematic, Reddit, social media, et cetera, I strongly encourage you to do so for your personal benefit. This is not my word as a moderator, but as a fellow concerned fan.
A great deal of modding this community has been dealing with fans who have "snapped" or are otherwise utterly affected by the rough ride the current DC Films franchise has been. It's simply the hand our team has been dealt. There are many negative symptoms of overexposure to franchise news and developments, as you may recognize from the wider impact of social media, which has enabled and accelerated both the best and the worst in users everywhere. That stereotypical but relevant image of a malcontent stuck behind a keyboard doesn't have to be you. I've seen many personalities change for the worse over the course of media addiction, especially after disheartening turning points. That personal cost is not inevitable. As I have told some of those who have interacted with me through this community at length, you need to do right by yourself. If you need a break, take a break. Maybe you'll be back. Maybe you won't. But your mind and your heart will probably thank you for the relief.
I am able to forward this advice because I, as well as the rest of our dedicated team, have zero commercial interest in this community. We're here to keep the facts straight to the best of our judgment and help fans limit their exposure to only the most relevant portions of the attention-seeking rumor mill. We are also here to facilitate healthy and informed discussion of DC's films. If you ever get the sense following DC news this closely has become an unhealthy diversion, you can always take a step back. The chips will fall where they may, and you don't have to be apprised of every frame of their descent. We'll still be here, doing our best to honor our commitment to the fandom.
Best,"

Michael B. Jordan is up for Superman, not Batman.
Kit Harrington is reportedly being looked at for Batman.
Sorry that's what I meant.
They should just cut their losses, admit they screwed it all up, and move on to original ideas.
Like how about this one - a futuristic theme park where dinosaurs are brought back to life using advanced cloning techniques.
I call it, “Billy and the Clonesaurus”.
That Reddit post is funny but the truth is, they're right, bitching about things online is a form of addiction. I have a friend from high school whose online persona is so awful I stopped following him. I'll go to his house and eat with him and he's mostly a normal person, not the insult machine he plays in social media. But occassionally he snaps in real life as well. I'm not sure he can tell the difference between trolling someone or real anger anymore.
I'm just waiting patiently for Duke to post all the clickbait follow up today about the wb / cavill breakup being untrue. Because you post all the DC clickbait right? Not just the negative, right?
