Huh. That's interesting. I need to bone up on some Batman vs Deathstroke stuff I guess. Any recommendations?
Edit: I don't know much about Deathstroke, but I thought both actors who played him on Arrow and Smallville were compelling characters.

New Trailer
Third time's the charm?
It looks great, but we've all been down this road with Warners before, so...
At this point it's going to have to do a lot to fuck itself up because, again, it does looks very good. (Only some of the slo-mo action footage doesn't quite connect out of context, like that early bullet shot.)
But really that just means it has to have more of the same sort of clunky storytelling, jittery plotting and weak character work as BvS and Suicide Squad, which is sadly a real possibility.
Last 11 things I really enjoyed:
Speed Racer (Wachowski/Wachowski, 2008)
Safe (Haynes, 1995)
South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (Parker, 1999)
Beastie Boys Story (Jonze, 2020)
Bad Trip (Sakurai, 2020)
What's Up Doc? (Bogdanovich, 1972)
Diva (Beineix, 1981)
Delicatessen (Caro/Jeunet, 1991)
The Hunger (Scott, 1983)
Pineapple Express (Green, 2008)
Chungking Express (Wong, 1994)
MoS, BvS and SS all had great trailers. Fool me 4th time, shame on my inability to resist the next one.

Patty Jenkins has more evidence of having a handle on character in one movie than Ayer or Snyder have in all of theirs though. Though this is probably being mollified by the demands of a bunch of idiot middle management types at DC/WB trying to justify their jobs.Quoting Henry Gale (view post)
But unless this gets really good reviews, I will probably give it a miss. Haven't seen any of the other ones and don't really need another cinematic universe in my life.
Stop it guys. This is why they'll never stop.
Why do you hate female superheroes?Quoting Ezee E (view post)
Yeh but we started getting worried with BvS when they showed Doomsday.Quoting number8 (view post)
Heh. I have it at the bottom of my most anticipated movies of 2017. Unclear whether I will support it in theaters. Though the GF loves Chris Pine....Quoting Ezee E (view post)
This is actually a genuine concern for me. People (including myself) have been bashing WB for years for being too chickenshit to make a Wonder Woman movie. I don't care if it gets critically roasted, but it would be unfortunate if it fails to shatter the opening weekend.Quoting Dead & Messed Up (view post)
