So Phil Lord & Chris Miller are officially directing The Flash. I like these guys a lot, but they have an uphill battle with competing with fantastic CW show.

Sure why not?
STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI (Rian Johnson) - 9
STRONGER (David Gordon Green) - 6
THE DISASTER ARTIST (James Franco) - 7
THE FLORIDA PROJECT (Sean Baker) - 9
LADY BIRD (Greta Gerwig) - 8

What's the consensus on both CW shows? When do they start getting good?
Arrow gets good halfway through season one and becomes great in season 2. This recent season has been pretty meh so far.
The Flash has been amazing since the first episode. It's a perfect superhero show.

There's no way there won't be a joke or two with them behind it.Quoting Watashi (view post)
I'm still skeptical about this cinematic universe, but this was a good move.

It's hit or miss, yeah, but when it hits, it's the best the show's been. The flashbacks are so fucking useless this year, but the Ra's Al Ghul stuff is tops.Quoting Watashi (view post)

Haha awesome. Ayer responds to why Jared Leto wasn't in the cast read photo with this pic.

Would've loved a Joker with Leto's long hair.
Damn. Michelle MacLaren has exited Wonder Woman. Creative differences, yadda, etc..
I hope this can somehow make her even hotter commodity to do big things in the feature world. Not that any number of the TV shows she's been delivered amazing episodes for (Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, Better Call Saul, The Leftovers, and back to her roots with the revival of X-Files) wouldn't love to have her back any time.
I'd love to see her instincts for tension, action and atmosphere brought to an original work, though.
This isn't quite true, at least yet. They're simply helping them develop the story while they prep another movie. But the same thing happened with Lego while they were between Jump Street movies and they ended up directing them all.Quoting Watashi (view post)

But srsly though get her for Captain Marvel, Marvel.

Watch DC end up with Julie Taymor.
Actually, I would watch that...

That would be cool if she realized how greener the grass was on the Marvel side and that's why she walked.
It can't be because she's not gritty enough, 'cause she was all up in Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad, so maybe it's because of her ovaries.
Oh wow, Patty Jenkins is directing Wonder Woman.

Reused shot from Man of Steel and a single quick shot of the bat cowl?
Wow! What a teaser!
"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"
"Rick...it's a flamethrower."
It's just a commercial for the teaser. The teaser is being released on Monday.

Damn. That means I won't see it until Tuesday because I'll be heavily intoxicated for the entire day on Monday.

Yes I know. Trailers for trailers are silly.
Soon we'll have trailers for the trailers for trailers. Hopefully a teaser for those as well. Aired during NCIS.

There's a shitty cam version out of the full teaser trailer...at least until they snatch that shit up:
Fucking spoilers obviously, but I didn't mind. I'll watch it again in high res and like it then too.
EDIT: Never mind. ALREADY GONE. They are bringing the double-barreled A-game tonight.

I have very little interest in this movie, so I saw the leaked trailer (it's still out there). Usually Snyder can craft a purty looking trailer, but this was just too dark and "this is serious business!" and I got bored.

The Charlie Rose and Neil DeGrasse Tyson voiceover debate bits were the highlights, as well as the brief shots of Affleck really giving Batman presence in the suit. Not much else to go by, but at least it gives a good sense of a decidedly less-sunny atmosphere than the debatably cheery Man of Steel.
Twitter's become a pretty good source for corralling leaked stuff studios will be instantly hunting on YouTube now. But here it is. (For now.)

The voice over gives a good idea of the topics the plot plans to cover (very interesting) but its hard to tell whats going on visually. Its a bootleg.
Decent teaser again- didn't give me the same excitement as Star Wars of Avengers did.
Again, it's so damn dark and gritty- We're going to have Superman and Batman glaring for the entire movie.

It's just so disheartening to have a movie about Superman being feared by people. The complete 180 opposite of how I want Superman to be portrayed.
