Thread: The DC/WB Superhero Movies Thread

Yeah, based on the last two Apes movies, I think if any director could finally start pulling Bats out of the long shadow Nolan left on the character, even just partially, it'd be Reeves.

I didn't think bulletproof vests and stuff worked like that.

Getting shot point blank with a machine gun wouldn't he at least get knocked backwards?

Can we get Scar in here please?
Doesn't look like a bulletproof vest. Looks more metallic. Bulletproof vests don't emit sparks

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

No I get that, I just didn't know what else to call it aside from bulletproof vest.

But like, the sheer force of a couple guys shooting you full auto from point blank would at least knock you back, no?

Eek. The Batgirl movie costume looks like something from a CW show.

Maybe it's just a bad photo, or it looks better in action...but yeeesh.

Has a nice look, tho it sure seems with Johnson's "never be a really bad guy" persona/professional requirement that Black Adam is not actually gonna be a straight-up villain but rather a misunderstood antihero (who probably Does the Right Thing at the end). So I guess they are following the more recent tuneup of BA's story.

Looks like fun! I'll see it. He'll make a great foil to Shazam when they inevitably butt heads a few years down the road.

He's more like naughty Shazam, but Shazam himself is kind of a magic riff on Superman.

Wow the Batgirl movie has been scrapped reports say. Apparently because it scored bad as fuck with audiences.

No, the bigger issue is that WB thinks they can come out better financially by taking a tax write-off rather than releasing it in any format.

They certainly don't seem to care about their dignity at this point. That's like an idea from The Producers.
