Why? He's actually pretty perfect. The only person I can think of whom I'd prefer is Idris Elba.

"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"
"Rick...it's a flamethrower."
Bingo. Like I said, B list. A list would be Elba.Quoting megladon8 (view post)
It's the worst casting I can think of unless you're going for a campy, Joel Schumacher vibe.
Idris Elba is good. Ideally, I think of Stewart as Denzel, but of course it should be someone with less "star" baggage and probably younger, too.
Why is Batman is the best?
This is why:
Love it.
So Cyborg is in this now, too. Being played by stage actor Ray Fisher.
Why don't they just call it Justice League?
"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"
"Rick...it's a flamethrower."
Maybe that'll be the twist of all of this? No title so far, lack of initiative on building towards an Avengers-esque universe. Why not just bring in an new actor (masked or not) to cameo as Green Lantern and string in the CW versions of Arrow and Flash and BOOM, problem solved.Quoting megladon8 (view post)
It'd be kind of awesome in a way for them to actually do this and just see which characters audiences respond to the most and spin them off into their own movies instead of the Marvel strategy of spinning them into a team.

So he really is just piggybacking off Nolan.
Doesn't look anything like the Tumbler to me. This is long and low like a more classic Batmobile.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)

Ha you're right. I had to google it to see comparisons but I remember it looking like this for some reason. Funny how the brain works.
The tires bear some similarity. Threw me off a bit at first too.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)

Looks like a combo of the Burton and Nolan Batmobiles. So far so good.
Dark Knight Returns, pretty much.

This might be the first movie since Adam West to have a non-armored Batsuit.

Looks like armor to me... Affleck's not that swole.Quoting number8 (view post)
Looks cool, though the return to a non-head-turning cowl is silly.

There's probably padding, but if you zoom in, that's the stretchy basketball material that Superman and Spiderman's suits look now, with fabric folds and all. It's not the sculpted armor that's been used since Keaton.

Yeah, it's definitely moved away from the plates or chest piece type things a bit. I think there's mean to be practical armor/padding underneath though. It's not skin tight like Cavill's suit is meant to look.Quoting number8 (view post)
I like it.

I like it too. I think most Batman fans would have wanted something like this to the ones we've got previously. I mean, holy shit, it took them 8 movies to finally give him an actual utility belt.

I like that a lot.
I'd like to see a colour photo. I'm still wondering if it's blue instead of black.
