See my above post regarding the R rating.

    Especially for Birds of Prey.

I'm surprised this campaign is still going. I would run to the store if they released it. Maybe I should get my other wants going: #releaseTheAbyssDCblu #releaseTheBlackHoleblu

It was recently reinvigorated when Snyder himself confirmed its existence.

I'd much rather they admit and do that upfront then half-ass (or in most cases WHOLE ass) a story from the books everyone loves.

Yikes of a prediction and I'll counter by saying it won't come close to Deadpool and probably make double whatever the reported budget would be (so still a success).

No but the reviews are solid. Even if they were poor, you'd still get every alienated male between 10 and 50 in the theaters. This will be Black Panther for incel gamer dorks. The (mostly) positive reviews will hype it up more and even the negative ones I've read make it out to be everything they hoped for. Not much competition in October either (Maleficent 2 and Zombieland 2 are about it).

"Aquaman" featured a shirtless Jason Momoa and still managed to be family friendly.

"Joker" obviously does not have the same appeal. Who's gonna bring a date to a movie about a middle aged incel?

How much did Deadpool make? I figure Joker comes out of the gate with $50-$60 mill. If it truly leads to a Joaquin Phoenix nomination, it probably will beat Deadpool.

The middle-aged incel stuff is only a twitter thing.

*sigh* I miss the days when you could just like a movie, or even merely show interest in it, without being considered some sort of asshole or a bad person in general for doing so. This sorta talk is precisely the sort of nonsense why I don’t like talking about movies on twitter anymore. -_-
