I love it.
At this point, the positive PR WB would get from releasing it (and probably needing to spend $50 million on VFX) would be worth it.
I think it would make money whether it's good or bad.
Anyone got some drying paint instead?

See, I doubt it would even make back the amount it would cost to release it.
Just like how nobody would go see a movie about the Joker... >.>
Had to go back and see, but I recalled the discussions where people were predicting it wouldn’t make nearly as much as it did:

It's been reported that Todd Phillips may welcome a return to the Joker if the story (*COUGH*money*COUGH*) is right.
I don't know if Joaquin Phoenix is on board though.

John Turturro to play Carmine Falcone in The Batman.
So Falcone is going to be taken over by the Penguin this time instead of Ra's al Guhl?
Quite like that lasso action.
Fuck yeah
Looks super fun.

This character doesn't appeal to me at all. Trailer fails to excite.

80s theme feels familiar...
You know 80s themed/set movies existed before Thor: Ragnarok, right?Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
I was actually referring to the recent influx in 80s themed media; e.g. Stranger Things, Summer of 84, American Horror Story, Turbo Kid... hell even It... but glad to know you're still threatened by Marvel.Quoting Skitch (view post)
How does that make me threatened by Marvel? That doesnt make a bit of sense. I said that because were in a comic book movie thread and you do tend to relate everything to MCU, sooo....
....Because you're always bringing up Marvel in the DC thread.
