Ray Fisher did a heck of a lot with just 10% of a character.

No joke, who is Ray Fisher?
He was Cyborg who was supposedly a major part of the Snyder cut who was reduced to a few scenes in the Joss cut.Quoting Ezee E (view post)
Where's baby doll?
Wonder if any of the other stars will come forward and back him up.
Otherwise I could see this being shelved. They'll paint him as just being salty about his part being cut down.
Add it to the list of things that will be revealed with the success or failure of the Snyder cut.Quoting megladon8 (view post)
But were they able to sit in chairs?
All of them except Ray Fisher.Quoting Ezee E (view post)
He was there for 10 minutes. Didn't need a chair.
Why is he speaking about this now? I don't understand where the motivation is coming from.
Isn't Whedon notorious for equality on the sets of his stuff?
Well, a few years back a bunch of stuff came out about him being a creep.
So I wonder if this is related.
I'd guess since the Snyder cut announcement he no longer feels the need to be "business-supportive" of the other version.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
I don't know anything, just guessing.
Or NDAs expired?
Either way, I'm here for it.
Momoa on a Christopher Nolan set.

This is gross beyond belief. On Ray Fisher's part, I mean.
Unless Whedon, I don't know, pissed on his face or did something really awful that they had to pay the cast extra to keep quiet about, it feels really manipulative and unprofessional to bitch online now that his version is getting a highly publicized recut by the original director. On-set feuds really shouldn't include an audience of millions.

I don't know anything about anything with Fisher or Whedon. But I'm sick of hearing how everyone single person on a movie set is awesome to work with. Thats bullshit. Call out the assholes. I've literally never had a job where someone somewhere wasn't an asswipe, and I've never worked in an environment with hundreds or thousands of people. Its literally impossible that everyone is awesome on movie sets.
Somehow HAS to have a bad story on Tom Hanks.Quoting Skitch (view post)
Why? To a world wide audience? Is it always that clear cut who is the asshole?Quoting Skitch (view post)
Do you guys seriously think this makes for a healthier work environment?
I think it makes for positive conversation? Even if people disagree with the complaints of the person involved, isn't it better to know like "hey, if you work with this person, they're going to treat you like this."Quoting Grouchy (view post)
Again I invoke Michael Bay who is a notorious asshole who studios still give a blank check to because he makes billions of dollars and actors continue to work with while publicly saying hes A FUCKING ASSHOLE.
Probably inspired by the recent callouts across publishing, videogames, streaming, and comics.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
Whatever. I don't know that but I'm willing to believe it. What is Fisher saying exactly, here? Is it just that easy to slander someone without providing anything factual that warrants such a stab in the back?Quoting Skitch (view post)
Or does he plan to, like, divide it in episodes?
I'm very torn on this.
Of course I think abusive, creepy or violent people should be called out.
But I am bothered by the idea that accusers should be believed with zero evidence or backup.
That's not a world I want to live in.
As Spinal said a few times regarding issues like this, we need to start looking at these situations with the eyes of scientists, not the eyes of lawyers.
I also agree with this! I'm not calling for Joss to be cancelled, we havent heard any details yet. And hell, I'm not calling for Bay to be cancelled either! As far as I know neither have done anything seriously egregious (racism, bigoted comments, etc).Quoting megladon8 (view post)
All I'm saying is its refreshing when people are honest that not every single person in the industry is "they're great. It's great to work with them. They're great. Everything is amazing."
I gotcha, Skitch. And I agree completely.
It can all just get a little too witch-hunty.
Look at Amber Heard and Johnny Depp.
Very true. And for all the months of stories of those two I still dont know wtf is going on there.Quoting megladon8 (view post)
She accused him of abuse.
It ended up she was the abuser, and even used make up to fake injuries from him.
He was all but cancelled due to it.
She still has a career.
