    Dexter (Season 8)

I figured I'd start the thread with news that Yvonne Strahovski is reprising her role as Hannah McKay. I liked Hannah. Then again, I liked Lumen, too.

Looks like it's just the two of us, although I'm only watching because it's the final season.

This is one of the worst shows I'm still watching right now, one I haven't really enjoyed since season 2. I guess the 4th was ok, but people tend to be forgiving towards it to thanks to Lithgow and the finale.

This season's opener was ok, I guess.

EDIT: To be honest, I'm not even sure the show was all that good to begin with. I guess it benefited from having been released in that era when TV was transitioning into quality stuff, and not yet saturated with anti-heroes. Maybe this would've been DOA without Hall.

I thought the episode was alright. Hopefully the show goes out with a bang. Hopefully it'll be season 2 quality.

I thought it was a decent episode but a little bit of a comedown from the greatness of last season.

Caught up out of obligation. Second episode is better than the first, but I feel like they're making the season arc too obvious.

If more Vogel means less everyone at Miami Metro (except for Matthews, maybe), I'm all for it.

She's a very contrived character, but it helps a lot that she's played by Rampling.

Everyone at Metro is beyond terrible, so yay!

Nah man, two of the episodes have already aired. It's every week on sundays right now.

I've watched the first episode so far, will get to the second sometime this week. it's not a big priority right now but probably will become more of one when it gets closer to the end.

I thought Vogel was really great in these last two episodes. I'm genuinely intrigued with where they're going with her.

I liked Matthews talking shit about Quinn. I think he may be the most useless character in television history, given the amount of screen time he's afforded.

That was such a bad episode. Just when you think this show can't get any worse, it does.

Total agreement. How can it get any worse? Seriously!

I mean, that moment where Sookie strips down and and straddles...

    ...wait, what?

This isn't the True Blood thread?
"We eventually managed to find them near Biskupin, where demonstrations of prehistoric farming are organized. These oxen couldn't be transported to anywhere else, so we had to built the entire studio around them. A scene that lasted twenty-something seconds took us a year and a half to prepare."
