Well, shit. If he officially comes back, I'll have to watching this last season.

I never watched this when it first came on the air so I am catching up now via hulu. I'm somewhere in season 3. I am loving it...then again, I usually love ensemble shows. The character dynamics grab you and make you feel like you're part of the family.
I'm trepidacious about season 4 though. Based on stuff I've heard, Im worried its gonna fall off the table and I'm thinking of avoiding it altogether.
Harmon coming back is the only way I would consider watching the show again.

Beyond Jeff graduating and Chang returning, there doesn't seem like there's a whole lot that necessarily needs to be accounted for if Harmon returns. Call it the bright side of season 4's poor character and story development.

I kind of hope he tells them to fuck off.
Apparently they're only turning to Harmon and McKenna now because Guarascio and Port only had a one season contract and rejected the offer to renew (probably got sick of being blamed for the negative press). If Harmon says no, I don't know what the fuck they're gonna do with the fifth season.

Probably give it to Tim Kring.

If Harmon doesn't come back I would be fine if they just killed the show off. I hate to sound like a broken record, but its true. And um this is what we all get for that #SixSeasonsAndaMovie hashtag...

I really wonder what the hell happens if Harmon/McKenna turn them down. Promote someone from the writers' room? Hire someone off another show? So much for those who said that season four was the new creative team figuring out how to handle the show and the assured improvement in store for season five.
If Harmon comes back, this will be one of the weirdest entertainment industry stories in a while.

Dan Harmon Is Officially Returning to Community
...and the milk's in me.
The era of the showrunner indeed.
That is so strange and so cool.
Can't wait to see how Harmon goes after season 4.

This is beyond good news.
I can probably approach Community each week without getting drunk first this coming season.
This means I should just skip the episodes after the puppet episode that I didn't bother to watch. What happens though if not even Harmon is able to save the show? But for now I'm thinking "FUCK YEAH!"

Oh my yes. Harmon might record the Season 4 DVD commentaries as he watches all the episodes for the first time.
I never thought I'd be saying it, but I might have to buy Season 4 of Community on DVD.
Last 11 things I really enjoyed:

Safe (Haynes, 1995)
South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (Parker, 1999)

I just finished Season 4 on Hulu.
God, that last season was an absolute train wreck. The only episode that even felt competent was the one Jim Rash wrote (Troy-Abed body swapping).
Thank God Harmon is coming back.
Also, that last episode? Talk about falling flat.
PS - did they air some episodes out of order in season 4? There was an episode early in the season where Annie holds up a glittery "Welcome Archie" banner, which they didn't make until the FOLLOWING episode. WTF.
Yes, but that's normal for sitcoms. Previous seasons were, too.Quoting Fezzik (view post)

As number8 said that's been something going on in lots of shows and in this show over multiple seasons. The Yahtzee episode for instance has the production number of the episode on the door at the very beginning but it's shown out of order.Quoting Fezzik (view post)
