Holy Shit :: Heath Ledger Found Dead

CNN.com is reporting that Heath Ledger has been found dead in his apartment.

Holy Christ this is bad news.

    Jesus.

And just when he was becoming a fantastic actor, too.

I also have a few friends who knew him back in the day.

    Jeez.

At first I thought this was one of those random ploys but I checked a few other sources, and sure enough.

    Man, that's awful...
Wishful thinking, perhaps; but that is just another possible definition of the featherless biped.

Well that's shocking to say the least. It's a shame. I'm curious now to hear how.

I was just commenting, like, two days ago how I thought he was fast becoming one of his generation's best. New York Times article. Sounds like suicide.

I'm surprised at how much this is upsetting me.

Not only that: yet another Terry Gilliam project is being hijacked.

    Sad news.

Good actor. Terrible shame. WTF's with him at Olsen's apartment, though?

I really hope that the Oscars, if they are a go, don't cut awkwardly to Michelle Williams if she's in the audience. That'd be kinda awkward.

i seem to recall reading he struggled with fame. maybe he didn't see that as a good thing.

i just stumbled across this news on another board and had to reread it a few times to make sure i was reading it right. it's a huge loss. his performances in brokeback mountain and i'm not there are both fantastic. i expect great things from dark knight. it's a shame that will be it for his career. it will certainly make watching it an odd experience.

RIP hope you're happier wherever you are.

    Yes. It's in post-production now.

    Anyway, R.I.P. I'm just...stunned. Totally stunned.

I hate to say it, but this made me laugh.
