In which Sam Rockwell's moustache does a spot on interpretation of Sam Elliott's.
Wim Wenders edition
Million Dollar Hotel is so lame.
Most of Wenders work is pretty much under the radar. I saw The State of Things recently, with Sam Fuller playing a cameraman, and I don't think I'd heard of that film even once before.
So, what's the November/December movie that's going to "exist" in 2014??

Imagine what kind of deformed homunculus would be spring from the loins of Billy Crystal and Bette Midler IRL.
Am I alone in being positively creeped out by pretty much all aging actors who spend waaaaay too much money on plastic surgery in an effort to stay eternally young?
Whatever happened to aging gracefully?
"We eventually managed to find them near Biskupin, where demonstrations of prehistoric farming are organized. These oxen couldn't be transported to anywhere else, so we had to built the entire studio around them. A scene that lasted twenty-something seconds took us a year and a half to prepare."

Although it didn't make as big of a splash as Paris, Texas or Wings of Desire, it did win the Golden Lion. That's not nothing. In any event, to my tastes it's one of Wenders' very best.

Funny thing is that 90% of the movies on Netflix watch instant are like this. Looking for a popular critical darling? Netflix probably doesn't have it. Looking for a straight-to-video ABC Family Christmas special with once-famous-A-list stars and no RT consensus because only 2 critics saw the movie but neither bothered rating it? Netflix probably has what you're looking for. (A lot of the movies mentioned in this thread are on watch instant but your year-end favorites are probably nowhere to be found).
By the way, these movies exist:
This next cinematic masterwork grossed a whopping $30 at the box office:
Oh, and most of Heather Grahams career
Both of the above films have plots about having a baby and came out in the same year. I'm not sure if Graham was trying to tell someone something or what.
