A very late-90s/early-00s-ish thriller that almost works thanks to Seyfried's unexpectedly persuasive performance, the sheer momentum of its often-laughably absurd plotting, and some brief flirtations with knottier ambiguities underpinning the boilerplate vigilante surface. More amusing than anticipated, but not exactly good either. That said, I almost want to give this a positive score simply for including what surely has to be one of the best excuses to arouse suspicion for an obvious red herring in the history of WTF scripting.
