Mad is still really good.
Anyone else still break out classic issues of Mad and have a great chuckle?
"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"
"Rick...it's a flamethrower."
Yep. I've got some of the coffee table books.Quoting megladon8 (view post)
My buddy at work subscribes to Mad, so I still read it on a regular basis. It's still consistently funny.

I wish my dad still had his collection. Apparently when he moved out of his parents' house that was one of the first things they threw out.
I've got a few stacks of issues from the early-to-mid '90s. They're still great fun.

If still had all the ones I'd collected during the 80s, I might have a small fortune now.
Or not.
More likely not.
I still have some of the Mad Magazines my dad had in the 70s. Too bad the TV show wasn't any good.

Yes, it's showing up on major sites now. What a blow. You can't say thay she didn't live a full life, but still. She was one of a kind.
Sasha Shulgin. 88. This is a wonderful movie about him, if you don't know who he is.
The severed arm perfectly acquitted itself, because of the simplicity of its wishes and its total lack of doubt.
