Random note, the close ups of the rocky areas were my favorite. Don't know why, but I loved those.
Sweet! It's lucky youtube decided to give that up as the starting gif then haha.

Very good job, Qrazy. I echo the statement on the spray can toss. How much of a time period are those clips spread over in terms of production?

I would say that half the content I had done in an older reel and half was from the last 8 months of shooting. So everything in full probably about a year and a half in total. A lot of stuff I've shot didn't make the cut though either because it was corporate or stuff I didn't have permission to use, etc.

Nice quick cover of Lovin' Spoonful's Daydream. Sorry for clipping and general roughness. It takes every effort to refuse myself the rabbit hole of microediting, so I've adopted a policy of spontaneous release.

I reached my Kickstarter goal today! Huge thanks to the Match Cut turnout. You guys really took me by surprise. I'll share more info here as I am able. There will likely be video at some point.

It's not quite Thanksgiving yet but this Moebius riff evolved out of a bit of doodling.

Couldn't pick a better guy to ape. I spent a large part of my drawings-years trying to be as much like him as possible.

Way to go man! It's super cool when friends support what you do!

Doesn't happen often enough in the art world. I can count the number of IRL friends who support/like my music on about 3 fingers, and one of those is my girlfriend; I can't even get the guys I play in a band with to listen to my music! LOL

I'll try to make a trip down to Portland to check the show out - need to get down there sometime soon anyhow, and it'd be cool to see something you've been a part of.

I really like the bird and the rider. The contour lines on the bird are great. Even if you hadn't mentioned the influence, I totally would have gotten it.

Damn Sven, you're great. I wish I had that kind of musical talent.

(Is it weird? Everyone has their own talent. I have my own as well, but I still wish I had a different one. I'm selfish that way)

I shot my first real short film today. Real in the sense that I've done shorts before but I put a real crew together for this one and hopefully did it right. I think it will come out well. Should be done the final edit, sound mix and scoring by the end of November.

After finishing my first full-fledged Stage Managing gig on 'Shrek: The Musical' last month, its back to the stage for me. I'm playing Bob Crachitt in Theatre Tallahassee's "The Christmas Carol" in December.

It's an adaptation of the story, yes, but the director has decided to take the story's title a bit farther and has incorporated several actual Carols into the play. It reads like a cross between a stage play and a revue and its pretty damn good.

As the story gets darker, the carols do too. At one point, the entire ensemble sings 'The Coventry Carol' in Latin.

And...she is having Ignorance and Want sing 'The First Noel' in dissonant unison.

I cannot wait for this to come off.

I finished my first "Creature Horror" script and now I need to start looking for someone to design this creature if I want any chance of getting this project funded.

Any Match Cutters serious about connecting with me on this? I can't promise instant money, but down the line, if we get funding, there will be some negotiation.

I may have to make a separate thread on this.
