Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry (Alison Klayman)

EDIT: Errr, is there a way to add a poll after I created a thread?

Ai Weiwei is such a slam dunk of a documentary subject. And I hope one day someone makes a lucid, formally playful (or at least cleverly-structured!), but Never Sorry is most certainly not that one.

Ah, so this is as I've feared. Got excited when the Lightbox announced this because for a second I thought they were announcing that they were screening his new documentary, So Sorry, and not a documentary about him. Which, fine, but it looked like total pap. Oh well.
Giving up in 2020. Who cares.

There are short clips shown from his documentaries and I really wished I was watching them instead. Much more compelling.
