    Romantic Recordings

I'm sitting and listening to Angèle Dubeau's recording of Philip Glass's scores, and I was suddenly struck by this question: What's your favorite unabashedly romantic songs and/or artists, whether classical or contemporary (and thus, including all genre)?

Hoping to discover some new works, as always. My list:

    Anathema - Dreaming Light
    Fleet Foxes - Helplessness Blues
    Bob Dylan - Wedding Song
Nick Drake - Place to Be
Portishead - It Could Be Sweet
    Richard Wagner - Vorspiel
    St. Vincent - Marry Me
Explosions in the Sky - The Only Moment We Were Alone
Nina Simone - I Put a Spell on You
    Devin Townsend Project - Texada
Pyotr Tchaikovsky - Piano Concerto 1 Bb min Op23, 1 Allegro
Dead Can Dance - Don't Fade Away
Arvo Part - Spiegel im Spiegel
Neil Finn - Try Whistling This
    The Boat People - 9
The Power of the Dog - 7.5
The King of Pigs - 7
