Getting some Van Helsing vibes from that red-band, tho it's better than the other Mony Mony trailer. But then I loved Van Helsing, soooo I'll probably still see it for sure. Hope it's fun.

The thing I don't understand is that Mignola's beef with Del Toro's movies was that they overplayed the comedic elements at the expense of the Horror, which is what the Neil Marshall approach was going to be all about.

... but that trailer is more action/comedy than anything else. I don't see the difference in tone that was supposed to justify the reboot.

    10% RT.

Calling it one of the worst comic book movies ever. Which is saying a lot as we barely made it out of the 90s with any decent ones.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

    Neil Marshall is kinda garbage.

2 good movies, and one of them is (sorry to say) largely nostalgia.

I’m...not sure where your positive vibes for her come from?

Punisher: War Zone is one of the worst movies I have ever seen in my entire life.

And Green Street Hooligans is...a movie that exists.

Yeah, I think I'm gonna give this one a pass. Hell, I think I might watch one of the GDT Hellboys this weekend, just to make Ezee E mad.

At least Hellboy The Boardgame arrives via kickstarter in a few weeks and looks to be actually faithful to the source material. And fun.

I chose to see Us a second time instead of this a first time. Seems like I may have made the right choice!

My friends and I did see Harbour and Jovovich while we bought our tickets, though. So that's something.
Last 11 things I really enjoyed:

    Speed Racer (Wachowski/Wachowski, 2008)
    Safe (Haynes, 1995)
South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (Parker, 1999)
    Beastie Boys Story (Jonze, 2020)
    Bad Trip (Sakurai, 2020)
    What's Up Doc? (Bogdanovich, 1972)
    Diva (Beineix, 1981)
    Delicatessen (Caro/Jeunet, 1991)
    The Hunger (Scott, 1983)
    Pineapple Express (Green, 2008)
    Chungking Express (Wong, 1994)
