My TV-related New Year's resolution

I will watch American Idol when it's on and when I'm home, but I will not record it, nor will I pause or rewind it. That would require too much devotion.

I will go another year without tuning into broadcast television or caring about any sort of reality television series at all.

This will be easy.

I will go the entire year without watching any crappy TV. Which is usually easy. I'm hoping that this year passes without any shows I like getting canned, but one of them I like (Reaper) is on a bad network that might not know it has fried gold.

The only time I see any reality TV or broadcasted TV show, it's at the Firehouse. I usually just work on something else or read the newspaper.

I simply don't watch TV. I've always got a DVD handy.
