Top 10 Most Viewed Movies of the Year - June 1st

    1. The Avengers - 58
    2. The Cabin in the Woods - 39
    3. Haywire - 31
    4. The Hunger Games - 30
    5. 21 Jump Street - 28
    6. The Grey - 26
    7. Chronicle - 23
    8. The Innkeepers - 20
    -. John Carter - 20
    10. The Raid: Redemption - 19

So Haywire jumped quite a bit after its DVD release. But The Avengers absolutely dominates this list in its debut, already being seen by more posters in its first few weeks alone than last year's most viewed movie of the whole year, The Tree of Life. It'll definitely be interesting to see how some of the other big name titles to be released this year will fare in comparison.
    My guess in the first month of release;

The Dark Knight; Just as much +/- 3
    Prometheus; about half as much
The Amazing Spider-man about a third as much

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

Avengers isn't going to sweep the awards like Tree of Life though.

Top 10 Most Seen Movies of the Year - July 1st

    1. The Avengers - 62
    2. The Cabin in the Woods - 43
    -. Prometheus - 43
    4. 21 Jump Street - 35
    5. Haywire - 33
    6. The Hunger Games - 31
    7. The Grey - 30
    8. Moonrise Kingdom - 29
    9. Chronicle - 25
    10. The Innkeepers - 22

John Carter and The Raid both dropped off the list. In their place, we have Moonrise Kingdom, which has apparently released everywhere except for my own home town, and Prometheus, which is looking to possibly top Cabin in the Woods for the number two spot. Unlike the top spots on this list, however, Prometheus remains very much split down the middle in terms of popularity.

Look for Dark Knight Rises (and possibly Spider-Man) to shuffle this list up even more in the next month!

Top 10 Most Seen Movies of the Year - August 1st

    1. The Avengers - 63
    2. The Dark Knight Rises - 53
    3. The Cabin in the Woods - 45
    4. Prometheus - 44
    5. Moonrise Kingdom - 42
    6. 21 Jump Street - 37
    7. Haywire - 33
    8. The Grey - 32
    -. The Hunger Games - 32
    10. Chronicle - 30

The Innkeepers falls out of the list, being bumped by newcomer The Dark Knight Rises. TDKR takes over the #2 spot from The Cabin in the Woods, however, in the coming months, will TDKR be able to rise above The Avengers?

    EVERYONE,

Please only name the poll the same as the thread title [Film name (director)] and not anything else. Thanks.

Top 10 Most Seen Movies of the Year - September 1st

    1. The Dark Knight Rises - 65
    2. The Avengers - 64
    3. The Cabin in the Woods - 51
    4. Moonrise Kingdom - 47
    5. Prometheus - 45
    6. 21 Jump Street - 40
    7. The Hunger Games - 39
    8. The Grey - 34
    -. Haywire - 34
    10. Chronicle - 30

Same movies as last month, though with a few shuffles. Most notably, The Dark Knight Rises has beat out The Avengers by a single viewer, though we'll see how long TDKR can hold onto that top spot. Also, Moonrise Kingdom takes the number 4 spot from Prometheus, and a DVD release helps push The Hunger Games back up a few spots on the list.

... God dammit. So hey, I don't suppose if anyone knows whether or not it's possible to retrieve a prior edit for a post or anything like that? Because during my latest edit, after hitting the submit button, the board apparently glitched and it deleted about half the post.

    :: sigh ::

I'm very sorry, but it is not possible in this version of vBulletin.

A good example of why the next admin needs to look into an upgrade of the forum.

Also, to update the most viewed movies of the year:

    1. The Avengers - 69
    2. The Dark Knight Rises - 68
    3. The Cabin in the Woods - 60
    4. Moonrise Kingdom - 57
    5. Prometheus - 51
    6. 21 Jump Street - 44
    -. The Hunger Games - 44
    8. Looper - 39
    9. Haywire - 36
    10. The Grey - 35

Looper knocks Chronicle off the list. Other than that, not much has changed. Lots of big movies coming out in these last 2 months, though, so we'll see!

The word "not" I believe will make the engine look for threads that do not contain the word that follows.

Generally when looking for titles, you should put them in quotations. When I did that, it found the thread.
