    Truly ugly.
It really is. Nevertheless, I have to wonder if such blatantly garish posters are meant to appeal to the masses who aren't interested in this movie to begin with.

I mean, you can't deny this poster is hard to miss, for better or worse. And a more subued one, even if it is an artistic masterpiece, just wouldn't be the attention-grabber that this flick perhaps needs.

It's horrifying how even the most expensive tentpoles can have cheaply doctored images of actors on the posters... I mean, Ford's face is so terribly attached to another image of him that it doesn't even look like him anymore.

Studios don't rely on posters don't sell movies like they did back in the day.

The sequel is skipping festival season but has begun screening and sources say it runs well over the two-and-a-half hour mark. The exact runtime has not been confirmed by Warner Brothers yet, but Sony Russia has listed the movie at 163 minutes, which means we’d be getting 2 hours and 43 minutes of jaw-dropping Roger Deakins cinematographer.

Bladder condition? I recently made an Usain Bolt style run to the john while watching the Apes movie on theaters. Also did it at home during GOT finale after Littlefinger scene.

Can't wait to see it. Therefore 143 min feels better than 120.

I guess I just don't understand how after all of these years anyone could be hoping a new Blade Runner skimps on indulging in its world when it both has to re-establish it AND make its own new mythology. The fact that we've only ever gotten 117 minutes of Blade Runner's universe in film is maybe the greatest gift and punishment of cinema. They are an absolutely perfect 117 minutes (as in maybe the most stylistically ravishing ever to me), but how could you not want as much more of it as possible?

I will pretty much always take a longer version of a movie that I love. Now I just hope end up I love this as much as I want to.

The only time to care about running time before a film has been screened is when a big budget summer studio film (live action division) barely runs 90 minutes (e.g. The Dark Tower, Jonah Hex, Lucy, Snatched, The House). They tend to suck.

Otherwise, the ideal length depends on the content of film itself entirely. So... *shrug*
