Please include #alllivesmatter. Like, "If #alllivesmatter, then why should my gastropub stop taking delivery orders at 8:30?"

Whoa- not related to bad cops or anything- but how this guy handled the situation- seems properly trained.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

Cleveland kind of tense right now. The verdict has been made in a local police shooting, but the judge hasn't released it yet. Theres a rumor local police are hassling out of town protesters and interfereing with them getting hotel rooms. The mayor sent a mass email informing residents that theyre hoping for peaceful protests, but to be aware there may br protests in the area. How long will they wait to release this verdict? I have to think it's going to be not guilty if theyre warning citizens, right? Will they wait through the holiday weekend, or through the Cavs playoffs? What are they thinking?

Which verdict are you guys waiting for now? The Tamir Rice murder or that insane 140 bullets one?

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

I assume its the Tamir Rice one. I missed the beginning of the news piece, and theres been a few shady police shootings here in last six months.

This is the other one I was referring to. Looks like they're expecting a verdict today.

As early as Thursday, a Cuyahoga County judge is expected to deliver a verdict in the case of Michael Brelo, a Cleveland police officer who joined a massive police chase in 2012 and helped pump 137 bullets into the car of Malissa Williams and Timothy Russell, black Cleveland area residents who turned out to be unarmed.

Saw a truck the other day that had written on the back window "Police brutality doesn't happen. It's made up by the media. If you see a police officer give him a thumbs up."

    Ok.

Two good articles I read recently about two ex-cops who resigned because of what they saw in their departments.

I'm a black ex-cop, and this is the real truth about race and policing

Nothing like watching a cop not use his turn signal. But hey he's just like the rest of the shitty drivers in my town.

Really bad look when you're caught on camera planting drugs at a crime scene because you didn't realize the body cam you were wearing automatically records +30 seconds of video from when it's "turned on and off"

Wow, this hallway shooting story is absolutely insane and depressing. There's video of a cop shooting an unarmed man on the ground five times for no reason. It's out there for everyone to see. And he has still been found non guilty.

What kind of message does that send to more would be murderers?

  21. #696
