I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

Description for those who can't watch the video: This looks like it has nothing at all to do with the show and it's basically Hot Fuzz meets Superbad.

Looks amusing. I'd be willing to give it a chance if the reviews come back fairly positive.

It's directed by Chris Miller and Phil Lord, the guys who did Clone High and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. So really, that's enough for me to see this, considering my love for both of those.

The trailer wasn't bad, but I feel like it would've been better of being about a minute shorter and not forced to be red-band. I did laugh though.
Last 11 things I really enjoyed:

    Speed Racer (Wachowski/Wachowski, 2008)
    Safe (Haynes, 1995)
South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (Parker, 1999)
    Beastie Boys Story (Jonze, 2020)
    Bad Trip (Sakurai, 2020)
    What's Up Doc? (Bogdanovich, 1972)
    Diva (Beineix, 1981)
    Delicatessen (Caro/Jeunet, 1991)
    The Hunger (Scott, 1983)
    Pineapple Express (Green, 2008)
    Chungking Express (Wong, 1994)

Based on early word, this appears to be a winner!

"In an era of disposable pop culture including its own source material, 21 Jump Street is anything but."

"Lord and Miller have created an instant classic - an action movie that's as sweet as it is smart, and undeniably funny on top."

"Holding its middle finger up to '80s retro-hounds, this remake gets it largely right. Fast, filthy, fresh and funny, Jump is worth a punt."

"It has a bad, slapstick first act but by midpoint becomes strangely compelling, tapping into the fantasy of reliving one's high-school years (which did a number on us all) and getting it right."

"Vibrant and fresh due to the brilliant pairing of Hill and Tatum, the type of classic comedy duo that works so well it makes every moment fun and entertaining."

"... it both overtly acknowledges how frequently awful it is for Hollywood to trade on shameless pre-packaged nostalgia while turning the original into something new with a voice all its own."

I rather liked the trailer, and I think this could be a really enjoyable action/comedy.

21 reviews and still not a rotten one in sight. Here are some new blurbs:

21 Jump Street is that rarest of comedies, a classic in the making that manages to become both more outrageous and hilarious as it bounds along.

Pickles and ice cream. Bacon and cupcakes. Chocolate and potato chips. Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill. Some pairings shouldn't work, yet somehow the result is delicious.

    Yeah, I'm there...in June.

This excerpt is weird. Are those pairings they're comparing this film to actually things?

Pickles and ice cream is definitely a thing. I've never tried it, as pickles are revolting. Bacon is great with chocolate, but I've never heard of it with cupcakes. Never heard of chocolate and potato chips.

I've had a Bacon Cupcake. It was amazing.

I think it was made with whatever that bacon jelly is.

Salty and sweet always make a good combo.

This looks much funnier than I would have anticipated. Tatum sure is one busy actor.

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

So did they purposefully make the worst trailer ever for this movie in order to put people off to seeing the actual film?

I thought this extended trailer is pretty appealing, actually, and surprisingly from what I heard isn't as spoilery as it appears to be (apparently most of the scenes are only from the first 20 or so minutes)

What? That is the point I think. That these things don't work when combined except that it's about looking beyond that and maybe accepting that there's a chance that they might.

Jimmy Fallon's Ben & Jerry's flavor has chocolate covered potato chip pieces in it. They are delicious.

I might see this due to positive reviews/funny trailer, but Channing Tatum is still a horrible actor.

I'm pleased to see this receiving such positive early buzz, primarily because it's the live-action debut of the directing team behind the hilarious Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs.

Have you actually tried any of the pairings, or are you judging them based on their sounding bad when you've never actually experienced it? Because that's kind of, like, the exact point that the writer is making.

Chocolate and chips is delicious, by the way.
"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"

    "Rick...it's a flamethrower."
